For sure I agree... Roger Craig was always a class act and he was one of the few running backs for opposing teams back then I did not dislike. Kudo to you. Yes LT changed the game and was the source of nightmares. Danny White for the Broke Backs was so focused on him that Carl Banks planted him on a blind sack and broke his wrist in 86. He was never the same again and the Giants won the SB that year.

The mock drafts are mostly agents pushing clients till about two days before the draft. I will wait until two days out to start taking things seriously.

Staubach though a hated Broke Back was a great QB in Landry's (ex-Giants player and coach for the young ones) system. He was the 70s Joe Montana. Craig was hit by LT to cough up that ball for the 1990 Championship game that ended the Three Peat.

You want to be playing in NY, LA, DC, Miami and/or Dallas to ensure you post season exposure. As far as TV goes you can't miss with NY, LA and DC. Money from the sky. Fuck San Diego. Yep the days of the pocket passer are so done right now. It could still be done around the early 2010s but that chicken is done now. Guys have to move and move well to avoid pressure. They also have to be able to read into third options and improvise. Whether that is running and/or preferably throwing it to the hot receiver. I would prefer getting the best available athlete and getting a QB in the late first round and/or high second round. None of these guys are can't miss to me. Seen too much football to be spurned at the altar for a lot of these cats.

What happened is that Eli told the Chargers he did not want to go there. They agreed both sides to keep the rejection quiet. Then the Chargers up and draft him so as to extort extra picks from the Giants. It happens all of the time and fuck the Charger fans...

Wow I remember him. After a bad head coaching gig... these guys would do well to disappear into Division I and/or better Division II football in college. Careers that last 15-25 years by just being ex NFL and staying quiet.
