yep unfortunately that's true. it's also true that in years past we completely sucked coming off a bye, and against atlanta, so hopefully the trend continues.

not entirely..i'm not speaking of the team as a whole just some who decide to give their A effort only when they feel like it. i'm not questioning shockey's motives on the field, moreso within his character. yes he is hurt a lot, but he also plays through it, which i appreciate. he is an enormous talent, and he could be the best TE in football, but to me he doesn't want to be. if he did, then he wouldn't complain if he doesn't have a big recieving day, or if he's forced to block for the majority of the game. obviously he is a great reciever, not a blocker, but that doesn't mean he has the right to bitch and complain about it, because that is what he is being asked to do. and sometimes, you have to sacrifice your personal accomplishments for the good of the team. i am in no way picking on shock as he is one of my favorite giants ever, i just want him to capitalize on the enormous talent that he is.

my money stays with delgado...until someone proves that they can get him out, i will not bet against him. this reminds me of the beginning of the year when he was tearing the cover off the ball.

very true indeed. the guy is an animal. he deserves the rushing title and i hope he gets it. i've never seen a player work as hard as he has. all the odds were stacked against him, and now he is making a push for the hall of fame. if only our other players had the heart that tiki does. we would be unstoppable. take notice, shockey!

guys i know trachsel was awful, but there is a very good possibility that the guy will have to pitch game 7. i don't think he can possibly pitch that badly again, but who knows. to be honest, i know perez pitched well enough yesterday, but if it came down to game 7, even though i hate him, i'd rather have the experienced guy pitching for us. and our bullpen should be fresh enough to hold it down if needed.

i hope he is. i don't care if this guy gets completely burned out as we will not be bringing him back. i'd love to see him onthere if we make it. we need all the help we can get.

i think gibril is extremely overrated by giant fans. yes, he accumulates a lot of tackles but as mentioned, stats can lie. he can't cover anything and he's not even a hard hitter anymore. i think this is one of the first positions we have to draft next year. we need a bigtime safety and we just don't have one. same goes for demps. i heard a lot about how good this guy was going to be, and in preseason he looked unbelievable. but in the regular season, he has done absolutely nothing as of yet.

definitely...there is absolutely no reason for emmons to see the field ever again in a giant uniform.

i agree. i actually like carpenter pitching at shea better. now that means he can't pitch at home at all in the series which is big for us. if we win tonight and beat carpenter, i can't see us losing this series. i really can't, though notbhing's impossible. did anyone read pujols' quote in newsday? he said glavine wasn't good and got lucky. f*ck him, het gets shut down and cries about it, instead of tipping his cap. i know the guy is the best hitter in the game, but he should show a little respect. what is glavine supposed to do? not allow any runners on base the entire game? sure we bailed him out a couple of times, but that's how the game works. he would have been our number 3 pitcher in the playoffs, if we hadn't had the injuries. i hope we walk pujols now almost every time, just to piss him off.

i hate salisbury more than anyone. for a guy who was nothing more than a bench riding fool throughout his career, he sure makes some bold statements with authority, like his answer is always the correct one. that being said, he always did like eli, even when he was first drafted. he always said he would turn into a superstar, i'll give him that. you and i both know however, that while eli is greatly improved, he is not the best qb in football at the moment. he has a chance to get there, not by numbers solely, but by his clutch ability as well, which most qb's don't possess. i gotta admit though, i hate when the press jumps on the bandwagon. it's as if the players actually listen to it, and we don't seem to play as well when they do. coincidence? maybe, but i like it better when we are underdogs.

i don't think so. as long as we win this week that is. they already have a division loss, we do not. i never "expect" to win at dalls, and i would be perfectly happy with a split. however, if we lost to dallas, different story. by no means does that mean i don't want the win in dallas, but i don't think it's a must win , yet. secondly i'm not as impressed by the eagles as everyone else is. do i think they have a good team, yes? a great one? no. to me, they haven't played anyone yet except dallas. i'm exluding the g-men because i think they were playing like shit at the time. i think our team could be completely different from the one that showed up in philly from here on out. i expect to beat them at home, and as for washington, we play them in washington on the last game of the season, where they can be completely out of the race. if that's the case i expect a win there as well. so if we end up going 5-1 in the division, that would be more than sufficient for me. is that going to happen, we'll just have to wait and see.
