  1. Um, except Peppers was running the other way after the running back when he got kicked, ass monkey. I have no idea why I have so much hatred for Wade-0, but I do. I hate that fucker. ****Deju Vu, I thought I posted this earlier today****
  2. Those games have trap written all over them.
  3. Nice play. Nice catch. However, the most impressive part of that clip.................
  4. I mean no disrepect but, how the hell did you see the game? Is Channel 4 carrying American Football live now? I was looking for an online stream the whole game.
  5. I was hoping the streaming Gods would make an exception in an attempt to lure me over to the dark side.
  6. Yeah, I agree with you, Jim. If you could get arrested for what might happen, anyone with a kitchen drawer full of knives and a wife could go to jail for 'what might happen'. The argument most will make is that Plax had a gun, and it could have gone off and killed someone. I'd be interested to know how those people would feel if the gun was registered. Would that have made an accidental shooting any less of a crime? Anyone with a kitchen, tool shed, or a medicine chest has the same chances of accidentally harming someone, but I've yet to see anyone tossed in jail because they might have offed their significant other with a Cuisinart.
  7. It's not just you, the streaming Gods hate me too......and I'm Catholic.
  8. That feed lsted about 2 seconds, now it's not working again.
  9. They're working for you? Not for me, damnit.
  10. I agree, but how many do the crime, get caught, and do no time? That is not to say what he did was right, but minor crimes get dealt away all the time. Especially over something, (and I am trivializing here), that amounts to a serious traffic violation. He was supposed to register the gun, no question. He wasn't using it in a robbery or pointing at someone threating to kill them. He didn't kill anyone. He didn't hurt anyone but himself. Could he have? Yes. But he didn't. He is being punished for failure to register the gun, and 2 years is a bit much in my opinion.
  11. He got railroaded because of his celebrity. As was already posted, you can't punish someone for what might have happened. He was a fool for carrying an unregistered gun, and fortunately the only one hurt was himself. My understanding is the offence is for carrying the unregistered gun. Fine, he should get some time, he broke the law. I'm just curious as to whether the next punk kid who gets caught with a gun gets the same sentence. Or the victim of a house robbery who didn't have to use it, but had one in the house for protection. I'm sure there are many cases both before and after Plax, of people getting caught with unregistered guns who get charged with the crime, but never see a minute of prison time. If they did, the prison system would be very overloaded.
  12. Oh. Well color me stupid. I was hoping......not necessarily to get Reed, but the loss of Moss.
  13. It doesn't surprise me to see a longer than usual list of injuries after the Jets geting fined for non-disclosure last year. Hell, even the Vikings have Adrian Peterson listed, and Tom Brady has been on the injury list going as far back as the '07 season.
  14. What happened? He fell down. Wasn't like he was tripped or anything.
  15. Everyone is riding Eli's jock now. They rode it after XLII too until they lost a game, then it was 'there's the 'old' Eli', blah, blah, blah. Eli's always been good with the no huddle/2 minute drill. They'll keep singing his praises until the gmen lose and then it will be the same old song and dance. What I can't wait for is the day some rookie is compared to Eli. Ron Jawarski on NFL Countdown: "You know, Key, Wendell Puddinpop is alot like Eli Manning was. Excellent in the no huddle.....calm....coooool.........stands in the pocket and makes a play. He's cereberal......won't put up out of this world fantasy numbers, but will keep you in the game and methodically slice you to shreds en route to the superbowl, and then....................go have milk and cookies".
  16. I love you, man. In the most homoerotic way possible, of course.
  17. You're not supposed to. When you made the post "so who's gonna make the sheritar" in the gameday thread I thought, 'eh, why the fuck not'. So I Googled 'pumping hearts' because I wanted an animated gif w'two beating hearts side by side and I was going to put Sheridan's head in the middle. I saw the pumping gas guy, and I thought 'hmmm, if Sheridan fucks up people are going to be calling for his head, and if he does well, people will say the D was pumped and ready to play'. So I did a quick cut/paste/ and soften job within a few minutes. I thought the double meaning of 'pumping' sort of fit seeing as nobody really knows what he can or cannot do yet. I didn't give it anymore thought than that, and I didn't even think about any kind of stat #'s. It was just sort of done on a whim.
  18. Giants Put Damper on Season Opener
  19. That's not necesarily true. They didn't get picked from, say, within the red zone where they would have been able to score. They could have just as easily gone 3 and out. The Giants on the other hand, were absolutely in a position to score and settled for 3. I suppose we could 'if, and, or but' what 'could have happened', all I was trying to point out was that Dallas did not 'outplay' us. He was smarter than the typical 'Giants suck' Dallas fan, and fairly humble considering what just happened to his team.
