  1. In Golfing's defence......'Imgrate' is a term from the old GMB used to describe Ernie Acorsie's supposed unappreciation of fan's desires in the draft. Some poster there posted something like "get (insert player here) you imgrate" and misspelled ingrate as imgrate. That word has been around forever in Gmen-land. Nowadays it's mostly used sarcastically. It's similar to the infamous internet phrase 'pwned' instead of 'owned', where some lunkhead simply hit the wrong key on the keyboard.
  2. That was the Hershel Walker trade, right? 15 picks or something that year? I'm sure they had a couple of #1's that year though.
  3. This is why I'm so awesome at fantasy football.
  4. The 'Turds have 12 picks on day 2. Jones will try and make chicken salad out of chicken shit, just watch. EDIT: Ya know, with all those picks, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a play for Edwards/Boldin just to piss everyone off. Cleveland's been stockpiling picks as it is.
  5. Politically correct answer. "Cool" is not how I would describe Coughers. Maybe he knows Harooni. There's a ringing endorsment for ya. The kid sounds like he's happy he got picked by the Gmen, and he sounds humble if nothing else. Guess we'll see in January how he's done.
  6. I agree with you on a kicker. Someone who will be here a while. Maybe the new Giants stadium will be like the new Yankee stadium.....homers all day.
  7. They are going to trade up and grab the best kicker available. BTW, has a kicker ever gone #1? Or should I ask "what's the highest a kicker has ever gone"?
  8. I could actually see Berman on the sidelines. Sean Salisbury.....not so much.
  9. We're going to change Mastershake's name to 'Monty Hall'.
  10. Your grandmother is sassy sar..............oh, nevermind.
  11. Not only that, but a 2nd NEXT year.
  12. Thanks for the info, you'd think I should know what GI is considering. I think I would be more worried if my mom and grandmother hadn't had it, and I was lean, mean health nut machine. Considering the way I have been living, particularly the last 4-5 years, it came as absolutely no surprise to me. If I was living a very healthy lifestyle AND had diabetes, like you, it would scare the shit out of me. Now, just 40 lbs to go and I can attempt to quit smoking (which they are on my ass about constantly). I can deal with the no bad food thing, haven't had a drink since xmas night, and all that....but there is no way in hell I can even attempt to quit smoking at the same time, plus I have never attempted to (nor have I wanted to) quit. Should be an interesting time for my loved ones when I do.
  13. What's GI? When I said low carb, I meant no bread, pasta, white rice, etc. I know I can't avoid carbs altogether, and maybe the fact that oats are considered 'healthy' fools me. Plus the oats provide fiber as well, right? I was diagnosed with diabetes in December, but since cutting out all of the foods that led to that diagnosis (and losing 30 lbs.) they're not so sure about that diagnosis right now. My sugar leavels and cholestoral have returned to normal, so I figure not eating like a 12 year old has helped drastically. I do still have 40 lbs to go to reach my goal, I'm just sticking to what has worked so far.
  14. 'No/Low carb'. Besides, I need something to bind that mush together.
  15. Non Braking News: My brakes don't work.
  16. Well, I've been on a low fat, no/low carb, no salt, no sugar diet since December, and those Boca burgers were just right for lunch, but it just kills me to pay the same (more even if they're not on sale) for fake food as real meat. So I decided to attempt to make my own. Honestly, I could just skip lunch and it would be fine with me, but I can't do that either. And lunch meat is loaded with shit i can't eat, so this is the easiest way to go, at least i know what's in them. However, this is the only way I'd eat tofu. I see them putting chunks of it in salads like bacon bits on tv shows and it makes me want to hurl. Soy, mini rice cakes, apples, bananas, and fuckloads of chicken breast and veggies...I hate it all to be honest with you (actually, I'm just sick of it). I'm trying to hit 220 before I start introducing a few 'regular things' back into my diet on occasion, although I must admit, last Friday I killed a triple Whopper and large onion rings for the first time since xmas.
  17. Oh, sorry. Yeah, I've been experimenting with making my own as I'm tired of paying 7 bucks for 4 'burgers' that have nothing to them other than the 'healthy' designation on the box, some soy and oats. I've been spending more time at Fresh and Easy and found tofu for about a buck. Horrible stuff on it's own. But I mix in oats, onion, bell peppers, garlic, worchestershire sauce, and a bit of flour to bind it all together, freeze it so it holds and toss them on the electric griddle. It ain't beef by any stretch of the imagination, but for about 3 bucks I can get a weeks worth of burgers per batch and it's actually not that bad tasting. Toss in some Quakers rice snacks on the side instead of fries, and I can get away with a relatively filling lunch for under 400-500 calories, no salt or sugar. No bun either, just the patties, maybe a few shots of Frank's Hot Sauce (a Godsend). Okay, let the gay bashing begin.
  18. You have a short attention span, Charlie Brown.
  19. Okie dokie, so I wasn't the only one who heard this while I was sitting here eating a Tofu burger: The Blue Screen - Ralph Vacchiano
  20. The trade talks are at a stalemate. Browns want Kiwi plus the 1st. Giants say Kiwi is not going to be dealt. He also said the Giants are the only ones interested, that the Gmen know this, and are willing to wait it out til draft day.
  21. NFL Live on ESPN just reported Harvin tested positive for marijuana during the combine.
  22. Fair enough. That's your opinion and you're welcome to it. Do you remember who started the 'imgrate' thing?
  23. No, I don't remember him/her/it.
