  1. RIP Giants of '07 we are on the verge of having one of the best teams on paper to get destroyed by injuries
  2. btw... welcome to the sportswrath!!! I'm usually not such a dick, but when I saw the game I happened to be watching it with 16 Bears fans, and me and one other Giants fans... it was so ruff... I'm still recovering from that fucken game
  3. it was... but that was not how we as Giant fans expected him to play comming from Miami and being such a great corner for all these years... I know he's getting up there in age, but we cannot have that kind of shit happening...
  4. I heard Robin Ventura isn't doing much lately!!
  5. yes we do actually... we don't auto-validate, so all our global mods verify each account first... plus we banned the fab 4's IP's not names... so they can change thier name to horse shit for all we care... the same outcome will happen
  6. Lockhart and the rest of the Fag 4 were here... we banned them for life... don't worry about trolls... it won't happen here
  7. if it ain't broke, don't fix it... that's what Larry the Cable Guy always said
  8. we do need one vet as a starter though... this japanese guy has never hit against major league batters so I would be scared to purchase this guy
  9. hmm... do you think this guy is all he's cracked up to be? Shit for the money I'd take Zito, someone who's already proved himself in this league
  10. Bears-we lose Jaguars-we win Titans-we win Boys-we win Panthers-we lose Eagles-we win Saints-we win Skins-we win that's my thoughts
  11. if it were my choice 1st reciever Burress, 2nd Carter, and 3rd Jennings... I like what I've seen from Jennings, plus Tyree needs to be on ST... if he gets hurt that would be to crucial to make him be reciever
  12. at points it was choppy but was still extremely better then looking at play-by-play on nfl.com I also saw the end of the Falcons game and it ran as good as tv
  13. Strahan out, depleting already thin Giants defense EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Pro Bowl defensive end Michael Strahan's status for next weekend's showdown with the Chicago Bears is uncertain after he was sidelined with a foot injury in New York's 14-10 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday. "Let's not get into that," Strahan said outside the locker room when asked about his status for next week's game. "You gentlemen have a splendid night." One early sign of concern was that Strahan was wearing a boot on his right foot as he walked away. X-rays were negative, but the team said Strahan suffered "a mid-foot sprain" in the second quarter. He walked off with a slight limp. Giants coach Tom Coughlin hopes to know more about the injury Monday. Strahan watched the majority of the game from the locker room, seeing New York win on a touchdown catch by tight end Jeremy Shockey with 7:49 to play. "Winning ain't nerve-racking to me," Strahan said. "There was some times when I was in the locker room and said: 'Oh, Man!' When [David] Carr scored the touchdown and Mario Williams had a big series. We did what we had to do to win." The Giants (6-2) came in short at defensive end with All-Pro Osi Umenyiora (hip flexor) and Justin Tuck (foot) out with injuries sustained two games ago. Adrian Awasom, who was signed off the Giants practice squad two weeks ago, took over for Strahan and finished with two tackles. "It was a shock," Awasom said. "The coach tells us all the time to prepare like you are a starter." Strahan even offered Awasom some advice. "He just said, 'Keep putting pressure on. This is your opportunity, take advantage of it,"' Awasom said. Strahan is half a sack shy of breaking Lawrence Taylor's all-time team record for career sacks. They are tied with 132½, making the 35-year-old Strahan the active leader among NFL players. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2650583
