knowing what the problem is, is half the equation...now that the coaches know what needs to be fixed they can concetrate on fixing it...when defenses stack the box that is easily overcomed with screen plays and passes to the RB, which if you have been watching has been called quite a bit. I think they will be fine. You want defenses to stack the line, it will open up passing plays...then it comes down to execution.

and to add to gmenroc's assessment....you have the #1 offensive line going up against what could very well be the #1 defensive line...that doesn't bode well for the rest of the NFL that the Giants are practicing at a high level of talent each and every day.

absolutely....we agree on this...I think this Barden kid can be spectacular because he has the size...we shall see, so far Reese is a genius in the later rounds.

His size can make up for some lack of moves, but lets keep in mind this kid came out of a no name school and he didn't really have to learn great moves to beat subpar competition. The moves will come as the coaching staff works with him....you can teach size and you cant teach speed and he has those two...There is nothing but upside for this kid who was a 3rd round pick.

Tollefson is probably the odd man out...but yeah Alford is definitely going to get a lift...Cofield has been good since day 1, last year he slumped a bit but that could have been due to being overworked....the entire line will be much better this year....I just hope Sheridan is aggressive in his play calling and not a Tim Lewis or god forbid Johnnie Lynn type.
