I don’t like the wr free agent crop at all, so I’d rather go this route for 3 mil. We may not have a #1 but adding a top 5 TE + Campbell + smith + maybe a pick to hodgins, Shepard, robinson and bellinger is a much nicer pass catching corps than last year.

Agree with that. I think I read somewhere they had like 9 mil left not counting okereke cuz his numbers aren’t out yet so one or more of dex/Williams/Waller/jackson prob has to happen soon

I don’t think Waller is going to be a 0 dead money guy. It’s hard to believe they aren’t going to restructure him and for a third round pick they gotta be looking at him as more than a one year flyer

This is a good point. The wr market sucks. Jakobi Myers is one of the big prizes and I’m pretty sure i saw Nelson agohlar’s name on a list

There’s injury risk for sure. That said, unless there’s some rough opportunity cost associated with whatever his cap number ends up being I think this trade is a shot worth taking
