  1. This is the greatest post I've ever seen.
  2. It really was. We didn't realize how great it was until a few seasons later.
  3. Giants gonna be BALL TAGGING Barkley, amirite?
  4. You say this now, but when Schoen is on the street in two years and there's six All-Pros on my "Seph would have drafted" list, it'll be Schoen who will be jealous OF ME!!!!!!!!
  5. I've seen that too, but I attribute it to silly season... like when Malik Willis was a top-5 pick. I do think McCarthy will go in the teens though; any higher is too high for me.
  6. If all three QBs are gone our strategy should be trade down, trade down, and trade down. I think Bowers is awesome but if you pick him in the top-10 he's already one of the highest paid players at his position by default. I'd love him in the early teens though.
  7. LMAO you're probably right. Huge "if" when it comes to "if he stays healthy."
  8. LMAO you're probably right. Huge "if" when it comes to "if he stays healthy."
  9. Remember that one time Drew Lock? Yeah, neither do I.
  10. From The Atlantic. This ain't good, fellas. We're hoping he plays up to his contract and as I often say, "hope is not a strategy."
  11. No, but it looks like Burns only had one season where he topped 59 tackles. I think you may have quoted a bunk stat unless I'm missing something. Anyways, we'll see. I think Hunter is 29-year old Michael Strahan, and Burns is 26-year old Olivier Vernon. I know who I'd be giving my money to.
  12. I really liked Penix with our first #2 pick but Shoen took care of that for us.
  13. I'm not sure what we're talking about. These are Hunter's tackle stats since 2019; combined, solo, assisted, TFL, QB hits (he missed the 2020 season). Those are good numbers. Here are Burns' numbers. I'd say they're comparable.
  14. Well not for nothing, but Joe Schoen is cheating. Brian Burns - 30 mil this season. Devin Singltary - 6.5 mil this season. Jon Runyan - 6.5 mil this season Jermaine Eluemenor - 7.5 mil this season In addition to the three little signings we've made, that puts us over 50 million. Dude's cheating to try and make me look bad. Unfortunately, he's the one who will end up looking bad in two years!
  15. Oh they're talking about per season? I figured since they were combining the sack totals they were doing the same for tackles.
  16. *Sigh* We're drafting McCarthy at six, aren't we?
  17. And Danielle Hunter. He's actually been one of the best in both of those categories.
  18. Again, just going by what I heard this morning he's a "top third of the league" kind of guy in pass rush win rate and sacks. We're giving him top-2 money and gave up two picks, one of which I'd argue is a premium pick in a draft like this. I hope you're all right and I'm wrong but this is the exact type of signing that we usually end up regretting.
  19. In 12 seasons. Not something to hang your hat on. Maybe calling him "average" was a bit too harsh, but he's merely "good" while being paid "great." Aside from his rookie deal he hasn't been worth his contract anywhere he's been. I've heard it said that he's "just good enough to lose" and I'd say that's accurate. He's certainly a competent player but far from a special one.
