What an embarrassment this team is. They can't be trusted. It pains me to say it because I love em and always will but damn. I'm so sick of this Jekyll and Hyde bullshit.

This team is awful right now. And yeah while he's been shorthanded Jerry Manuel is still a terrible manager. From his shitty in-game decisions to his handling of the bullpen and our younger position players...horrible. Either way it doesn't matter because he won't be going anywhere anytime soon. I'm not saying it's all his fault we suck (for obvious reasons) but he definitely deserves part of the blame.

Losing Dawkins at this stage of his career isn't that big, and they signed Sean Jones. Sheppard got passed by Joselio Hansen last season on the depth chart. And Considine, IMO, is terrible. Sheldon Brown apparently wants out though, and that would be a huge loss IMO. He was arguably their best cb last season.

He gave up a lot of sacks last year (11.5 in 13 games) but part of that was probably the result of him missing training camp. Don't know if I would've given up that much for him but if he can return to his 2007 form it's probably a good move.
