What do we do with the LBs?

After the Oline this unit is easily the next least talented and most exposed unit on the team.

If we stay in the 3-4 next year the current projected starters are; Carter, Connelly, Oglretree and Ximines.

Not something that's striking the fear into any offence any time soon.

Carter and Ximines are both unproven later round picks,.

Connelly looked promising but we still havent seen what he can really do.

Ogletree is old and heading out the door.

We need to replace atleast Ogletree and either Carter or Ximines, or even both to have a competitive front seven in the NFL.

Assuming 3-4: I've been an advocate for bringing in two big pass rushers, on DE like Armstead or Chris Jones, and OLB types like Barrett, Ngakoue, or Judon.

Keep Ogletree for now, along with Connelly.

Draft Isiah Simmons if available and if we can address OL in free agency.

Give them 4 year rides as is standard.

Ogletree isn't old, just expensive and unable to fulfill the role he is being paid to play.  Have to wait for the next head coach and see what happens.  Giants moving back to a 4-3?  Can't rule that out yet.

Yes. And if 4-3, Simmons looks like a great fit at WLB.

On a side note - Jenkins is having a terrific game over in NO. Am happy for him. He knew way back this coaching staff was losing its shit. Why has there been no news on Becchter yet?
