Although I think character still means a lot to the team. There are character guys who are also mean and nasty, but maybe didn't get named captain. Also, drafting young guys who come out of college early reduces the chances that they were captains...an honor usually bestowed upon seniors. Still - I do like the nasty element if they go for that.
