There has been an awful lot of talk about the New York Giants' wide receivers this offseason. One of the unit's least known players suddenly found himself in the news Monday.

The NFL announced Monday that Brandon Collins has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2013 regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Collins will be eligible to return to the Giants' active roster September 30. He was an undrafted rookie last year out of Southeastern Louisiana who made some noise in the offseason before spending the year on the team's practice squad.

I know some people are high on this kid with what coaches have been saying from training camp.

Well...both Jernigan and Barden are thanking him.

I've read that it was a 16 game suspension as well as a 4 game suspension. Doesn't say which "substance" was abused, but if it was Adderall, the team will probably go easy on him. Any recreational drug and TC will say, "bye".
