We didn't get much rain - most of that stayed to the south of us - but holy shit, I've never seen the wind like that in Ridgewood! I'm eager to hear what the max gusts were. I'm guessing around 70. I was fortunate enough not to lose power at all. A few big branches came down but fell harmlessly. Other's weren't as lucky. Trees came down all over town, damaging homes, cars and knocking out power to many. My wife works with senior citizens and one of her complexes lost power early and she's been there ever since........so the biggest hardship for me was nobody to bring me coffeee and newspapers this morning!

There are trees all over the place in Essex, but thankfully Idk of anyone in the area being seriously injured or even injured at all. My job (airport) is shut down for now and supposed to open (limited) tomorrow morning. Power outages all over the place as well.
