O'Hara retired a Giant

I know he wasn't the most popular lineman around here, but he was integral to a Superbowl team and was a pro-bowl player 3 years while he was with us; and was a member of one of the finest offensive lines I've seen on this team.

For some reason I don't recall him being that way.. I think O'Hara was a superb center for us till he was rushed back from injury or at least he wasn't himself after the injury. He and Richie were, as I remember, fan favorites.

Short memories. He was ripped by some a couple of years ago when he struggled after coming back (too soon) from injury. But he was a great Giant, and for most of his career, he was acknowledged as such by the fans.

 

I think most fans were upset he was brought back to soon as opposed to directing the blame at O'Hara.
