People have accused PFF of being a little too hard on Jason Pierre-Paul after the season he had, but we can’t deny there was negative in that season as well. A double-digit total of missed tackles left him with a ratio of a miss every 8.1 attempts and landed him in the Bottom 5 league-wide. As we have discussed before, missed tackles don’t preclude you from great play, but they’re always going to drag your performance down somewhat, and it’s an area we would look for JPP to improve on as he goes forwards.

I think his low rating can probably be explained by a) his rawness coming into the league and b) his willingness to attempt tackles that others don't even try.

Hmm, something's up with these. NFL.com has JPP with 116 tackles in 2 years, this has him at 71.

I'm pretty sure Freeny made more than 34 tackles in 3 years.

I've been trying to point out to you these lists are weird.....finally you are getting the point

Where are you getting this stuff.....Some clown on drugs is playing with your head

sorry but 195 tackles on 3000 snaps does not get my attention

Pele scored 1600 goals in 1600 games

THAT got my attention

Besides soccer/football, you're comparing a defender to the greatest OFFENSIVE player in the history of his particular sport.

Might as well compare Boley to Jim Brown or Jerry Rice.

I'm glad Blackburn had a good season, I'm just not confusing him with Pepper Johnson. And Boley was solid for a FULL season.

How about comparing Amani to Rice his look alike.........I heard Rice has poured over the stats the last two days and HE ALSO thinks Tony Romo is better than Joe Montana LOL

Is that the same Pepper Johnson who was spun like a lateral cartwheel when he got blindside blocked by Byars in Cleveland......anyone got a link to that hit??

Amazing Johnson lived and walked away.... I don't think you could spin Chase like that

Here is the Johnson video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAzoRgr8FAI

Opps wrong video
