JackStroud
This is tantamount to Teddi Bruschi coming back to the PATs in his prime Now we have a real athlete in the center of our defense Should be real real interesting I will now be heaped with ridicule or more likely the entire Giants online nation will have to pay homage

UK-Giantsfan
Jack ....i hope Blackburn will be OK for a few weeks .......he is a good backup .......he is not a 'first choice' starter in the NFL ( still think we will win tomorrow ........bu losing AP is not a good development )

JackStroud
we'll find out tomorrow I suppose if the D plays well it will be despite poor Chase's efforts
fishgutmartyr
He's not much faster than Pierce, so he's got that part of the transition down. In preseason, the D looked a little disorganized when Blackburn was in as MLB. Of course, considering how the D has played lately, that might not be noticeable either. I hope you're right, Jack. But I don't see it.

But I don't see it. Your right there In PRESEASON Blackburn led D has been pretty bad IN SEASON Blackburn led D's have been outstanding now if I have the choice..... I'm going with the later No Chase is a bit faster than AirHorn but its not that......he's a much bigger stronger guy.....if we still cannot pressure the QB or stop the run with Blackburn in there so be it..... Middle pass D should also be better with Blackburn a much taller guy with longer arms I'm happy to see him at last get his true shot Th season hangs in the balance and with 208 points allowed we have one of the worst D's in the league at this point.........let the games begin
fishgutmartyr
Well, we weren't worse with him in there, Jack, but that's not saying much... The only LB I'm impressed with remains Boley.
BlueInCanada
Yeah the only LB out there today who would be starting is Boley.
JMFP
Yeah the only LB out there today who would be starting is Boley. True....time to get Sintim in there full time. Crackburn is a career 2nd stringer for a reason....unless someone gets him a Home Depot gift certificate, he'll never have all the tools. Danny Clark is a weak spot on this defense.
