Money
This just confirmed my hatred for Gilbride. All he's saying is that Moss enters camp as the third receiver behind Smith and Hixon. It's purely an experience/production thing. Nicks and Barden -- as rookies -- will obviously have to make their way up the depth chart. They won't enter camp ahead of a veteran, and the competition will sort itself out in the end...

NeMesiS
I thought, in the limited time that he played. Moss did OK last year.
Virginia Giant
I thought, in the limited time that he played. Moss did OK last year. He did, Moss is not the waste of space many here believe, if he truely gets his shot this year, he will show he's a valuable player.

Martin
I would like to point out one major flaw with this Moss issue. The guy that is throwing the ball to him is Eli Manning. Eli, as much as I have man love for the guy throws inconsistant passes. We all know this so the Giants draft college players like Nicks and Barden who have great range and have great hands. Eli needs the kind of receiver that can catch anything in any ackward position. I could see if the giants had Joe Montana as QB with accurate darts being thrown or Steve Young but Moss isnt that kind of player to go up and catch anything. It least thats what I see. We already have Smith and Hixon as target that can be shifty out in space. With the 2 bigger receivers in Nicks and Barden for big targets or bigger targets what do you do with Super Mario Manningham? Tyree is a vet that is totally needed on this team. Gilbride can't be serious. You have to develop Nicks / Barden for the future. You have Smith, Hixon and Tyree. Thats 5 right there. Who's left? Manningham and Moss! Which is more valuable? You have travis beckum as H back. he gets open in space. Why Moss? I dont dislike the guy mind you but Manningham maybe more valuable than Moss and to come out like Gilbride did and stamp him seems a little odd. This is gonna be interesting!
