Lughead
A website for the Florida Gators reports that the Giants will have wide receiver Percy Harvin in for a workout tomorrow. Harvin said the workout is strictly a special teams deal, nothing else. It's not like the Giants are alone in all this. Harvin has eight to 10 more visits scheduled before the draft. And the Giants will undoubtedly bring in a bunch more prospects for private workouts. This entry was posted on Wednesday, March 18th, 2009 at 5:18 pm by Ernie Palladino. NeMesiS
I hope the Giants stay away form him as much as possible. He doesn't have a set position and didn't play in a pro-style offense. no thanks!
socalscholar
If you listen to Mayock, the kid has a pro-style game and would be a great weapon. He is versatile and we know how the FA and coach love that. I hope the Giants stay away form him as much as possible. He doesn't have a set position and didn't play in a pro-style offense. no thanks! Allstarjim
If you listen to Mayock, the kid has a pro-style game and would be a great weapon. He is versatile and we know how the FA and coach love that. He is injury-prone, something that will become an even bigger issue in the NFL with bigger, faster, stronger players. He would become a step above Sinorice.

You're not crazy... I think he's ver talented. However, it's going to take some time before he developes into a good good WR or RB. He's a tweener... He's a tweener... he could be our Hester, our Sproles if you like, we lost Ward and let KJ Harris go toomer is gone and he would be an upgrade to Moss. I say if he is there take him. Lughead
So you want to waste a 1st or 2nd on Harvin? depending on the talent that is available @#2 if he drops that far I would consider it. LB or (actual) WR first also dependent on what happens on April 1st.
socalscholar
I think he is the epitome of boom/bust. If he stays healthy, I think he would be what they thought Moss would be. Harvin already runs better routes than Moss and appears a more natural pass catcher. He would spread the field and he has the added value of special teams.
