Bigblue25
was watching ESPN and they had the five luckiest plays of all time, #3 was Picarsik #1 was the Tyree catch I know its a lame thread but the offseason is slow and was just pissed they called that play lucky
MakeMeSomeFoodHo
I think almost all great/incredible plays have a lot of luck involved.
Treehugger
I'd say the "Immaculate Reception" was way luckier than Tyree's. Eli meant to throw it to him for a start.

I agree...like I said, the Luckiest Play list can be the same as the Most Incredible/Greatest Play list. Their is luck involved in every incredible play. ppodlesny
all great plays are usually lucky...lets face it think about everything that had to happen to make that play occur. its not like Eli and Tyree were practing that in their backyard. socalscholar
How is avoiding a tackle and great concentration to pin the ball lucky? A fluke tip and catch is lucky! I think they should learn the definition of word before using it. all great plays are usually lucky...lets face it think about everything that had to happen to make that play occur. its not like Eli and Tyree were practing that in their backyard. And its not like he meant to pin the ball to his helmet, Harrison knocked the ball into his helmet it originally caught he with his hands and had a hall of fame safety attached to his back, great concentration

osi724dasack
The play was EXTREMELY LUCKY! Eli broke 3 tackles AND HEEVEd it up and Tyree mad a circus catch.
