  1. I'm sure they have quality daycare at those places now, I mean they already have succulent buffets. Those are classy joints nowadays.

What responsible, well-intentioned, trying-to-pay-her-way-through-school, hardworking, single-mom stripper would ever, EVER leave their child in the care of another?

  2. The SB is not going to be a walk in the park...not by a long shot.

Defensively, we need to double the inside receivers, which will probably be their TEs. Welker in the slot is going to be a bitch for CWeb.

Offensively, we need to be flexible and go with the flow of the game. Sure, we'd love ball control offense and to keep Brady on the sideline, but we need to be prepared for a shootout as well.

  3. I honestly think that Tynes might be trying to get more height on the ball and not so much kicking it out of the back of the endzone, encouraging the KR to bring it out and get tackled INSIDE the 20...maybe I'm just trying to find a reason for his kickoff inconsistency.

  4. Yeah, hats off to the the 49ers...their D was far more impressive than I thought, especially the secondary. If the 49ers get a WR and a CB or two in the offseason...look the fuck out. I thought their D was good, but I also thought that the stats they've put up over the year were skewed by the fact they played teams like the Rams twice, Cards twice, and Seahawks twice...not exactly offensive juggernauts.

Had we lost that game...I could've easily lived with it given the play of both teams.

  5. Romo good, Eli better. Stats similar...Eli wins in clutch situations...Romo hasn't. I'll take Eli.

I'd take Ware over Osi, but not over JPP or Tuck or Kiwi.

    I'd take the Dallas kicker.

I'd take Demarco Murray over Jacobs, but I like Bradshaw.

    I'd take Smith over McKenzie

I'd take Sean Lee over any LB not named Kiwi or Boley.

  6. Eli threw two balls today into coverage where two SF defenders ran into each other, resulting in an incompletion as opposed to an interception. That said, it was a gritty as hell performance and Eli should be recognized for it.

Throwing the ball near 60 times in that weather without a turnover is impressive.

  7. This is why I wanted a LB on Davis with a S overtop...Davis needed doubled. Man coverage on the other WRs was fine.

And yeah, I too think Davis stepped out on the first TD, but it was admittedly very, very close.

  8. The giant’s oline is held together with Duct tap and staples.

I would be hard pressed to think Smith is going to pull another rabbit out of his hat against the Giants defense.

Manning has been playing like a champion this year despite a shaky oline.

The run game seems to have revived itself in the playoffs, Jacobs actually bumped some runs to the outside for gains when the gaps closed

Tuck has stopped feeling sorry for himself and the d-line looks unstoppable.

Logically it looks to me like the Giants win...but when do these games ever turn out logical.

All the motivational crap is pretty much equal for both teams. Neither was expected to make it this far. Everyone counted them out, blah, blah, blah. It's going to come down to execution.

I will say, that if we do go into this game and win, we're well prepared for whichever AFC team wins.

Baltimore = San Francisco --> good defense, running game, mediocre passing

New England = Green Bay --> no defense, little to no running game, high powered offense

  9. I'm stoked about the Steelers in New York....Dad's a Pittsburgh fan and he's never been to a game, tailgated, or anything like that.

I'm 4 hours from Pittsburgh, but only about 3 from Secaucus where I've stayed before for Giants games. He hates lines, crowds, driving, and cold...but would love to go and see the game assuming it's earlier in the year. He'll have no interest in a November or December game.

  10. You know, I really think the NFL fucking hates us. We play 7 games against non-divisional play-off teams next year. THERE'S ONLY 10 NON-DIVISIONAL GAMES... AND 7 ARE AGAINST PLAYOFF TEAMS?!?! FUCK U NFL!

We play Saints, Packers, Steelers at home, and San Francisco (2nd year in a row going to S.F.), Ravens, and Bengals on the road.

Non-playoff/non-divisional teams we play are the Panthers, Bucs, and Browns. I get it, we won the division so we have to play other division winners. I still don't have to like it.

You do know that teams we play is on a rotational basis, right? Only two teams next year are based upon how we finished this year

  11. I am more confident about this game than I was about Green Bay.

Giants offense = San Francisco defense

Giants defense > San Francisco offense

I really think that attacking their secondary is doable. 3 WR sets with Nicks/Cruz/Manningham with either a TE/RB, TE/TE, or RB/RB comination. I think we could pass all day out of these sets. With the 3 WRs we have, they can't double them all and they've all shown they can beat single coverage. We need to start the game with quick, decisive throws...get the ball out quickly. Please, no screen/draw plays this week. Their defense is far too quick for them to work particularly well. I'd sooner see the RB release, sit down, and collect a 4 yard pass.

Defensively, I believe we have the ability to single up on their WRs. I think that they'll try to establish the run game given our inability to stop it on a consistent basis this season. Shutting down Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter is priority number 1. Double Vernon Davis with a LB and S and be damn sure to chip the shit out of him when he releases into his pass pattern. Despite the praise, and somewhat deserved praise, that Alex Smith is getting...he still doesn't scare me.

  12. LMAO I don;t think there was a game all year where I thought to myself....this ones in the bag...

Giants are classic jeckly Hyde...Might as well flip a coin as to what your going to get this weekend.

The Giants offesnive line is held together with craypaper and staples. The 49ner d was lights out last weekend. You can go back and fourth in your head over this 1000 times.....

Isn;t this what it's all about? That pit in your stomach that nervous felling, the airy feeling you get in your brain right before kickoff.

enjoy it now...only two teams get to play in he NFCC each year..and this year we are there...

There were 3 games where I thought this...both Washington games and Seattle.

  13. I'm not trying to jump down anybody's throat on this. I just find it interesting to look at.

Take the Niners game. Smith played really well and yea they needed to put up 36 points to win the game. But do any of you think they put up even close to 36 points if they are not +4 in the game?

And that's not a 1 off. Their defense has been doing this all year. At +28, they led the league in differential and where tied with GB for most take aways at 38.

GB's takeaways are skewed by the fact that teams were constantly playing catchup on the scoreboard. GB's offense forced opposing offenses to get pass happy. GB's defense knew it and played the pass. As such, GB's interception numbers grew as a result of their offense.

I'm not disagreeing, just pointing out that GB's takeway number is high for a reason other than GB's defense.
