One superbowl does not make up for all the playoff futility I have seen through this decade.

The Yankees' payroll will be lower than last year's even after going to buy a bunch of guys. As a Yankee fan you really have to not give a shit what fans of other teams think about the Yankees. We have no hitters in our farm system and our young pitchers outside of Joba hasn't worked out. We had to do something and the Yankees did, they played by the rules and everyone is butthurt about it. The Steinbrenners aren't the richest owners in MLB, they just actually give a shit about their team unlike other owners who just view their teams as toys.

Cardinals is the obvious answer. They're one dimensional and they've always been on dimensional even when winning games. They no run game and a defense that isn't more than adequate...maybe. They are so built for the regular season.

Eli's toughness will never be appreciated by anyone who isn't a Giants fan or the media.

I couldn't sleep well either. The O-Line looked so weak like they've never lifted a weight in their lives.

They should have went into the No-Huddle in the 3rd qtr. Nobody is going to fire Gilbride...hopefully someone hires him and the Giants make no effort to keep him. I am still amazed we won a Superbowl with him as our OC. To his credit he is a little better than Hufnagel.

I don't think I've seen Jerome McDougle since the first few games of the season. I guess he just sucks or something. Our defense may be the reason why we won't repeat. Our D-line is tired and they're getting shit pressure and our Linebackers are average and they don't make plays ever.

I knew this was going to be an issue. If we lose in the playoffs it will probably be because our LBers for the most part are very, very average and they all just plain stink in coverage. At least when Kiwi was a linebacker we had someone who could make plays as a pass rusher. The Giants need to through money at that position be it an early draft pick or a FA.
