Every play these bums just leave 1-2 players come through untouched. Every play. How incompetent do you have to be as a whole unit for that to happen?? Within 1.2 sec 4 out of 5 lineman are facing the QB after a 180 degree shit swivel. Its so bad that Micah Parsons came out to point out how atrocious the line is and in support of DJ.

Washed up.
I'm sure Bobby Johnson will have him trying to block a DB on every play while DEs run past him.
Anything is better than what we have currently.....Pugh and Collins - at its something....

I’m tired of the OL excuse. Every team in the league has a dearth of OL issues.
Seahawks skull fucked the Giants without their starting left tackle, right tackle and they had a rookie right guard take over early in the game
Wait....im confused. Isnt that exactly what you are saying? Its not like Geno or Lock were running for their lives, getting sacked 10 times, hit 18 times and still threw for 350 yrds and 4 TDs and won the game for the Seahawks. The Hawks OL played better, our OL sucked historically.

I think some of it is the inability to rebound stemming from week 1. I think that has lingered. I think a lot of guys thought we'd be better than we are and I think there too, is a mindset that we aren't just losing...we are getting embarrassed. In other words...guys believe they are this bad. Confidence is as low as it gets and no amount of lip service is gonna get it done...be it from coaches or players.
The only way to fix it is to go out and play respectable football. But with 2 asskickings on the schedule the next two weeks, I expect the downward spiral to continue.
I dont think this can be put any better than what you just said. They got their heads shattered in Game 1, and Game 3 in 4 days without Saquon and Thomas - killed it.

Sure they have Kelce and Lane Johnson, but they also developed Dickerson, pulled a high caliber LT Mailata out of their ass in the 7th round, Cam Jurgens was looking good until he just got hurt.
Even the Chiefs. Take a guy like Joe Thuney, who they signed in 2021 to a big contract. Instead that offseason, we fucking sign Kenny Golladay, and insist continuing this farce of starting Guards of Will Hernandez and Lemieux (and insisting Will Hernandez be flanked at RT by fucking Nate Solder)....and fucking Billy Price at C.
This OL stuff really gets me going. The incompetence.
Coaching, the actual mentoring/teaching of the players might be a factor, but you don't go into a 2023 season with no competent guards to speak of, and wishful thinking on Neal and on a rookie JMS, and expect a good OL. You just don't bank on that. I ask again, did we really need Barkely and Leonard Williams, instead of two capable starting OL in the offseason?
I don't get why anyone in the media, fans, etc are surprised the 2023 OL is garbage. It's really not a shocking result. It's an expected result. This is what happens when you leave 4 out of 5 OL positions to wishful thinking.
Very very true. The thing is - 2 of the biggest voices on the line are out - 2 leaders are out. And the rest of the team does not 'believe' they can be competent or win. They look defeated - yeah its also the coaching - other teams who are worse than the Giants in terms of talent are atleast putting up a fight. When Geno got pissed after that Simmons tackle and he kept at it - that fires up a team. Jones got hit late badly in the Dallas game and NOT ONE SINGLE GUY GOT IN THE FACE OF DALLAS. They just went all Mary fucking Poppins and lined up for the next play. You need that fucking fire - you need that energy and this team doesnt have it as of now.

Stick taps for JMS though.
His first game he got pushed around but really bounced back the last three games.
Best Oline player since Thomas has been out easily.
For sure. Losing JMS is hurting us just as much as losing Thomas is. The quicksand is here - this team needs a lot of luck and lot of things to fall their way and somehow eck out a win. Nothing cures issues like winning.

The Giants get sentimental when it should be pure business and are pure business when they should be sentimental.
THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF WISDOM!!!!
I saw the interview of DJ after Wednesday practice - the guy looks spooked. Its ok to be nice and not throw anyone else under the bus - but man WTF - if you heard the play wrong AUDIBLE THE FUCK OUT OF IT!! The TD to Plax in the endzone was an audible by Eli. He needs to start doing the audible. He did that the last game and even pointed at the unblocked guy - and STILL the Oline did their shit and he came over unblocked. Its time for him to do his own thing. Eli and Peyton need to speak to him.

This guy is awesome

The line for the 9ers game was 11.5
Dolphins are a far more explosive offense. WIth those 2 rookie corners, Hill and Waddle might have field days - maybe hence. But anyway - the actual line will be closer to Friday

Dunno about him - but i watch live streaming for free at nflbite.com

If I see one more press conference where Daboll says "We gotta move on, do a better job and get better and play better" as an answer to EVERY FUCKING QUESTION!!! - im going to lose my shit.
-
It is the coaching - get the OL coach outta here. The moment JMS went down, almost everyone looked like deer in the headlights. Every play atleast 1 defender was left unchecked and atleast 1 offensive lineman was just standing there looking around him wondering what to do while carnage ensued.

That was just brutal. Nobody could play QB behind that Offensive Line.
Our Defense has regressed too. So many missed tackles and virtually no pressure. Seattle aren’t even a good team.
Daboll has a lot of work to do
I dont think Mahomes or Rodgers would have better success than DJ behind this so called line that is TRULY OFFENSIVE!

I think the worst part about this whole farce is how these opposing teams are just joking and playing around, chilling, teeing off, literally saying GUYS GUYS!! this is it this is the time to pad our stats for the rest of the reason. The buffet is on!!.....and just the blatant disrespect they show - and this disrespect is very well earned by this team - thats what hurts the most. Worse than just losing the game
-
Just breaking records week on week - Max. no of sacks for Pete Carroll in a single game AND Daniel Jones
-
-
Im sorry - Ive seen some bad OLs and a lot of them on the Giants itself the last decade - but this - THIS OL RIGHT HERE??? might very well be the WORST OF ALL TIME IN NFL HISTORY
-
Heads up play by McFadden
-
Someone HIT GENO ON THE MOUTH!!!
-
this special teams is "special"
-
Are you fucking kidding me?????
-
Whelp - backup - will have HoF credentials on this game alone....
-
What do we need to get a pick?? Who do we pray to? Who to we pay? What sacrifice is necessary?
-
How does a defender remain unblocked almost every play???
Pugh activated to starting roster.

Good - they need a veteran to atleast point out the right assignments - because as of now - they look like turnstiles
