    Coughlin was upset about it.

Weatherford got called out for it and apologized. So did JPP.

Has nothing with us bitching, everyone bitches here, you included.

Hehe - thats for sure. This entire forum is for bitching anyway....

  2. You guys bitch too much. Prince and JPP and Weatherford was a simple lockerroom thing - dont think anyone was truly upset about it. The true bitch was Eli Apple. JPP just had a freak accident - as did Rapistburger. Am glad he retired a Giant. He was a damn good player as was JPP.

Yeah, I read that too...as well as his not wanting to play LB and kinda forcing a position change.

He is a hybrid, there is no doubt.  When your 5th year doesn't get picked up and you get traded to a team with a good DC...you gotta think he's gonna put his best out there, no?  Cause it's kinda vet min/career backup/ST guy if you fail here.

I think with any players cut this time of year...there are reasons teams send them off..so there is risk.  But I like that he has a chance to rewrite his history and we have a chance to take advantage of a hell of an athlete with a DC who knows where to plug him in

Well said - thats exactly what he is. A guy who can be used right for his freakish ability. JPP was a freak too until he went and became a ninja turtle but was effective even afterwards when used right.

  4. From what I read, the Cards have been fucking shit up with their players for a while now. It wasnt just Simmons - Cards fucked up Haason Reddick by making him play out of position where he farted around and when he moved back to DE he had a Pro Bowl calibre year. This Zaven Collins dude is another victim of a fish being judged by its tree climbing skills. Gannon doesnt look like a very smart coach and that entire organisation in a dumpster fire and are in full blown re-build mode. Wink am sure will use Simmons's athleticism a lot more wisely. I for one believe this was an absolute steal for us.

I remember everyone going ape shit over Rodarius Williams and I couldn't figure out why. In the two games he played in he gave up something like 170 yards and a score, had a 37 pff rating, and opposing QBs had a 107 rating when targeting him. Looked horrible each preseason too.

It's great that the coaches spoke highly of him, but there's a reason why those coaches aren't here anymore.

Who are these coaches that you speak of?

    3Hawk to the ProBowl babyyyy!!!!

I don’t have any issues with the questions.    I think his candor and professionalism were outstanding.

Exactly. This is why we need that guy in the locker room. But I do have an issue with the questions? - How did you feel during the negotiations is a question Im ok with? Did you feel heart broken, dejected, did your spirit break etc are leading questions and putting words in your mouth. To any of those, if he had even used the word "Yeah" the next headline would be Saquon says his spirit was broken by the Giants during contract talks....

Thibs needs more technique training from a top notch DE.  He needs to channel Michael Strahan and go forward.

Am sure Strahan, Tuck, Osi etc are visiting camp and practice on a regular basis yes?

God I hated the Solder signing and posted about it.

I remember some people thought I was crazy for calling him an average tackle.

I need to find that thread.

Billy really pulled a fast one one us there.....fucker got a 1st rounder for Garropolo! - Jeeesaaaaas

Also Saquon caught more passes and had more targets than anyone else on the team.   And all indications from training camp reports point to that not changing all too much.

hes not just some running back, hes the biggest part of our offensive gameplan.

Agreed - HE is the guy the DCs are most worried about - and now maybe Waller too...

That is the whole argument though, a good QB, pass catchers and defense are vastly more important to winning and even getting to the big show then having a top 5 RB.

If you don't have an good combination of those three things then you can't keep up with modern NFL scoring.

Which is why the RB position has been so devalued over the years, since outside of maybe three or four RBs in the NFL none of them bring that big play ability, or can be replaced with another typically cheaper RB in the league.

And it's funny you mention Beckham because he was making 19 million that year he carried the Rams to the SB when he was traded.

Do I think it sucks for RBs? Yeah you should get paid for what you produce on the field and it will clearly be a discussion for the NFLPA and the league to work out come negotiating time.

But I also think it's just the current shift in the NFL landscape and has been onset the last five years or so, after CMC signed his contract and then got hurt for two years .

Was having a tear away 1st half too before he tore his ACL at half time.....

  11. The argument here is Jones with scrubs for WRs - Hodgins was on the practice squad - was effective with a proper game plan. But if there is a case to be made for an RBs value - it has to be the Washington game when Saquon took over in the 4th qtr. Literally grinded out 1st down after 1st down and swallowed the clock to keep the ball away from the Commanders. THAT is the value of the RB - but those situations are few and far in between - its all about quick scoring now and drawing penalties. And Saquon being a receiving QB - like Ekeler or Tomlinson - is that much more valuable. The way he turned that lost play against Chicago into a positive 1st down was a thing of beauty. But yeah I agree - an Eric Gray and Brieda at 1-2 mill a year is almost the same to a GM than a single back for 13-14mill - purely because of the nature of the game and the play of the QB and WRs/TEs and the soft rules to protect the passing game.

Time to leave the desolate wilderness and head into the Promised Land.

Love this - from Scar to Simba :) - BTW - Did you know Mufasa's brother Scar in swahili means Garbage??? Imagine naming one son King and the other Garbage!

  13. 8-9 for 82 yrds and the one incompletion was the drop by Waller....Dallas is already starting to game plan for Waller. Its insane how fast Hyatt is that he can actually look that effortless. He might well turn out to be the absolute steal of the draft.

I didn't think someone could get more private than Eli but now we have Jones.

Ever since he was spotted playing flip cup with Eli after the Tampa win the dude has been a ghost in the media.

Don't blame him, that show is fantastic but it does delve pretty deep into the players personal life.

Oh yeah??? I havent seen it yet.....maybe will give it a shot. Did they even have a lot BS with that bitch Mahomes's wife and his shit show brother? - man they are intolerable!
