For sure Seph... It is the way of things.  Time is the most precious thing you can possess.  Try to spend most of it on things you enjoy and/or neutral.  No need to subject yourself the purely negative waste of time that a pummeling by the Broke Backs can result in.  Unless you are a Godforsaken Broke Back fan... then there is nothing I can do for you.

Where the fuck is BadEgg?? BadEgg and mikmak dont participate much here? Yeah i feel the same. I started watching football pretty late - when I studied in the US - 1999 onwards but since then - Week 1 was quite possibly the absolute worst game in terms of being dominated Ive seen. Id watch till the last play earlier even if we were down 35-7 etc - but nowadays, you can see it in the team when they have quit - thats the point I also do it, switch it off, watch something else with the whisky quantities and the the volume on AC/DC, GNR, Scorpions etc slowly increasing.....

  2. Hey - atleast this isnt cricket where in a season/tournament - the margin that you lose by also matters in qualifying. 40-0, 40-39 - its the same. Sky is falling for sure. The Cards game couldnt have come at a better time. I think the offseason hype got to us (rather the whole we will fly under the radar nonsense) - you ended up actually getting buried because of it. But Lael Collins is someone Id surely look at. My grandmom will have the same stats as Glowinski if she played RG.

I don't know what I am going to do this week. Giants are not going to be on local. $156 a month for 4 months is a lot for Sunday Ticket. I don't want to pay that. I like to record the game because I might not be home until 6pm and I catch up pretty quick by skipping commercials. No one wants to see Green Bay/Atlanta game.

You guys dont visit NFLBite.com and watch the Reddit streams?? Hell i catch every game sitting here in India on those streams - excellent quality....otherwise I watch Redzone to catch on action all around the league for fantasy reasons

Maybe, and I by no means say this is true, but maybe the O line was just a little miffed at the whole off season drama with Jones and Barkley. Maybe they feel that without the O line, Jones and Barkley aren't worth what they claim to be worth and this is just a way of saying fuck you. Because you have to believe if that line was that bad, the coaching staff never would have started them.

They also need to get paid right? And the only way they can do that is if they play well. This isnt 'The Longest Yard' :) I doubt thats the case

  5. I actually have one major issue from Week 1 - on that first drive when Jones got hit late by the Cowbitch and it was a foul etc - NOT ONE  - NOT ONE GIANTS player got in the face of the Cowboys! Not one!! What the fuck was that??? You were driving down and not even losing! Someone should have atleast shoved or gotten into the face of a Dallas player - where was that fire? Where was that emotion? Instead one guy (I think Schmitz) just goes, picks up Jones who had just been laid out illegally and they come back. I wanted more fire from this team on that play - let alone against a division rival. That got me a little disappointed

Well pulling your QB out is basically throwing the towel… at least that’s the perception.

The towel was snatched from our sorry asses exposing us butt naked and retarded in the rain and thrown in on our behalf by the the Cowboy by the start of the second qtr itself. Keeping Jones in there i felt was more of a statement to make the OL feel pathetic at their performance or maybe just to see if we can avoid a shut out somehow. But keeping Thomas in there didnt make sense. After all the coaching brilliance we saw last year and those half time adjustments etc - week 1 was an absolute Coaching headscratcher to me.

  7. I strongly feel they should pursue this guy. He has always had injury issues yes - but he is definitely an upgrade over ANYONE on that right side. I hope the Giants pursue this guy - vet minimum is all he can ask for right now.

  8. Everything hinges on how we respond against the Cards this week - the Cards game couldnt have come at a better time and from the last game - their Defense actually played well. A beatdown on the Cards will restore some confidence - because Game 1 was deflating. That OL better have been ripped a new one by the entire staff.

I watched the game break down again against the Dallas - man they pulled some seriously creative stunts in pass rush - obviously loading up on the right side - but still, some of those stunts left our OL clueless - esp when they knew we cant run the ball anymore.

  9. I woke up at 5am to watch the game - in 15 min it was 16-0 without the Cowboys doing a single thing worthwhile on offense - then they just pinned their ears back and rushed the fuck out of us and we moved away from the run game inexplicably. It was over then and there.

  10. Doesnt really matter - no QB is gonna be able to do anything when all sides collapse around him in under 2 sec and you dont exactly have a Jefferson or Chase on your team. Shake it off - Arizona's defense really played well against the Commanders. Im more keen on seeing how this offense responds against the Cards next week

  11. Oh well - an absolute disaster of a game. One of these was expected - am just glad it happened Week 1 in Primetime - at least now we will be swapped out of some primetime games.

And BIC - WTF are you smoking/drinking/inhaling or injecting?? Is a T and H missing in your moniker? Every post ends with a "lol"

Jones on average had 1.7 sec to pass before being hit - every snap - that was the NextGen Stat average - you cant do shit when both sides AND the middle collapses on you almost every play and you are running for your life. I had no idea this OL was gonna be this fucking bad - Cant even imagine what the Eagles DL will do.

Just a day where everything that could go wrong went wrong for the Giants - the botched snap, blocked FG, the "INT" TD return - Everything. 7 fucking sacks, 15 QB hits! - it was a statement that Jones decided to stay in there till the end of the game instead of saying fuck this shit. Guy earned my respect and probably the OL better get a fire lit under their ass. This game was lost in the 1st qtr - it was almost like the team knew its not our night. Shits not gonna work. Pats lost 37-0 to the bills in Game one and then won the SB beating the Bills 37-0 in Week 17. This team needs work for sure - but this Dallas D was absolute ferocious today - and the Giants got flattened because of NOTHING falling their way. Pollard fumbles and the balls falls into Dallas's hands - Hodgins fumbles and it goes straight to Dallas.....Saquon gets hit and balls flies straight to Dallas - just a fucking shit show day. Sleep it off, next week is next week.

All signs pointing that direction...guessing base defense is gonna involve 3 CBs/2 S anyhow given most offenses these days....which puts Jackson, Pinnock, and McKinney out there too.

Will have growing pains, but I think there will be far more good than bad and it'll be way better in the long run.

Tough test week 1...will the CBs hold up long enough for pass rush to affect Dak?  Will our offense match up against Diggs and Parsons?  We definitely have a shot, but I wouldn't bet on the Giants in this one...next matchup with all thongs equal I might if the guys continue to develop

Yeah - lets hope Giants arent wearing thongs - let alone equal :)

For sure... on the defensive line I think you need at least 3 years to get comfortable and 4-5 years to really learn the position, the offensive line and some of the other offensive/defensive check downs.  So much to learn while you are still wrestling with 300+ corn eating huskers.

Am sure Thibs has a chip looking at where Hutchinson is at currently. Thibs seems like a smart guy - and he gets to practice against Thomas on a daily basis - there should be marked improvement this year i feel.

Also we can go 6-11 if all six wins are against the NFC East.

Dak is 10-0 against the Giants.

We are 4-16 against the Eagles since 2013.

Dak is 10-2 - and I remember those fucking losses very well

    But that's what I mean.

Don't try to act all tough but just give him a tap.

Either lay the fucker out take the suspension for a few games and come back a hero or don't do anything at all and sack the guy.

I'll always remember Diehl laying out that one Cowboys defender after they hit Eli late, just up and blindsided the defender once he got up.

That's how you stand up for a teammate.

This team is a lot smarter with Daboll - he knows its not about playing for the stands

Guys I wouldn't mind kicking the tires on:

    G Lecitus Smith

    RB Larry Rountree

    RB Kenyon Drake

    TE Zach Kuntz (lol)

    CB Greedy Williams

Greedy is intriguing for sure - depth wise - will come for a vet minimum i suppose

Ward fucked with him because of the crack back Cobb put on one of our corners.

He heard them laughing about in their huddle. He wasn't going to let is go unanswered.

55 is stand up guy all day long and Rogers is a headcase who was playing to the mic he was wearing.

    C. Wagon

I cant put this any better than what you said. That asshole! Week 7 i gonna be interesting....i want banks to lay the smackdown on Wilson

:laugh::laugh: Preseason...just work hard enough to be on the team.  Don't show anything to the opposition.  The Giants play the Jests in the regular season.  Better to beat their asses then.  Let the Jests be the king of the Preseason.  Who cares really.  Just ask Melania/Melanoma.

Aaron Rodgers also told Jihad Ward "I dont even know who you are" and then said I told him the 'un-comeback-able' line - told him I dont even know who you are. Dudes at the end of a 20 year career is a still a bitch. We need to fuck these assholes up in Week 7
