  1. So apparently Wink has NOT resigned yet - some sort of stuff still going on.

Plus the guy who posted that story of Wink's fight with Daboll came out and admitted that it was fake - so no point in reading into it.

More should become clear in the next day or so

3 years, 40 million for Barkley? WTF are you smoking? Christian McCaffrey only made 16 mil this season and he's three times the player Barkley is.

McKinney is a good safety against scrubs that gets fucking destroyed by good TEs, plus he runs his mouth and doesn't back it up with his play. He can walk.

Simmons has been ok this year but I wouldn't break the bank for him either.

Whoa whoa - its easy for McCaffrey to do what he is doing with that Oline and with Deebo, Aiyuk and Kittle on the same offense. Defenses can only do so much when you have that many weapons that even an average QB like Purdy (who was exposed badly by Baltimore) can have League leading stats. Calling McCaffrey 3 times the player that Barkley is unfair - you put Barkley on that 9ers team and am sure Barkley will also have league leading stats.

In this dead ass season, Barkley has been one of the few bright spots on this team and has always played hard and has even expressed that he wants to be a Giant. But then again, its a business decision and I think they franchise tag him.

This reflects poorly on Daboll.  Who’ve I’ve already soured on very much.

How does this reflect poorly on Daboll?? I havent followed this closely - but from what I read so far, Wink was being quite stubborn and Im not exactly sure what the rift was between him and Daboll.

Something tells me Leslie Frazier is gonna be the next DC for us

I think Nabers or Olu will be the pick as well.  Daniels will be gone by then and none of the top-3 teams will trade out of those spots because they all need QBs.

A trade down might not be a horrible idea, but Nabers in particular is an amazing prospect from what I've seen so far (which isn't much).

If Nabers gets past the Chargers that is. Considering Quentin Johnson has been dogpuke.

Dont know if a trade down might be a good idea if we can grab Joe Alt or Olu.

I said it when Love left...he wasn't some hall of fame guy, but he just seemed like a guy who was gonna be missed, and he was.

Yeah - even i wished we could have somehow retained Love. He had a very positive effect on the squad and in the locker room i felt.

I see this "racist pricks" thing thrown around quite a bit but I don't understand it.  Jerry Reese and Marc Ross drove this franchise into the ground for a decade, Brandon Brown and Jesse Armstead both have high-ranking front office positions, and the Maras were one of the conduits behind the Rooney Rule.

I know the Giants picked Daniel Jones over Dwayne Haskins, but that's because Haskins sucks (his own team dumped him after two seasons). Eli Manning was the consensus best QB the year he was drafted and was with the franchise for 15+ years.  All of the top QB that year were white;  what was the organization supposed to do, pass on a generational talent and hope Vince Young was on the board next year, or are they supposed to dump a two-time Super Bowl MVP so they can have a minority QB instead?

Also, Brian Daboll was selected over Brian Flores because the latter is probably a fucking prick as evidenced by his behavior on the sidelines and the media both before and after his interview.  Other minority coaches they've interviewed (Romeo Crennel, Eric Bienemy) have not exactly lit it up once they've gone to new franchises.  Is it possible that they just weren't good candidates?

The Giants are stupid in many, many ways... but discrimination and racism is not one of them.  This is a really dumb point of view.

Hehe...relax.....was just kidding - for example there is no way they will pass up on say a Caleb Williams if they had the opportunity to draft him.

That 49er Oline benefits heavily from the scheme there.

It's all quick passes and outside handoffs to CMC.

If anything their best blockers on that team are Aiyuk and Deebo by a mile then their Oline heh

I'm surprised about Beckhton so far not many of those tackles that year we took AT have worked out.

Wirfs has been servicable. I remember a couple years back when everyone was saying we made a mistake taking Thomas instead of Wirfs - but Wirfs kinda hit his ceiling early and AT just improved to become one of the best at the position

  8. Im not sure Penix would want to come to the Giants behind this atrocious OL - or he is gonna want to have a hefty injury settlement in his rookie contract itself.

But from his highlights - he does look supremely talented. But the Giants might want him to sit behind Jones for a year, heal up and get in NFL shape - but I doubt Giants will go for anyone with an injury history and plus Im not even sure if these racist pricks want a black QB as the franchise QB.

  9. Not sure if its fair to compare Taylor and Jones's play this season. The OL was abyssmal the first half, then they got better and were decent in some Taylor and Devito games.

Secondly, DJ is getting paid 40 mill and was getting walloped and had everything to lose - the moment he chucks it downfield and has a couple INT all of us would be like HE IS BACK TO THE TURNOVERS!! Looks like he was shell shocked and had absolutely zero trust in his line and his WRs that he did what he felt was the safest thing to do and played within his shell

Taylor on the other hand is the back-up anyway and has nothing to lose and looking at where DJ struggled, Taylor is free to play as he likes i.e. take more shots downfield. He literally has a free hand to do what he likes without the consequences. Same with DeVito - no one was gonna say anything if he had 16 INTs in a Qtr also. This is where DJ is under far more pressure than these 2. Anyway, what does the OL class look like this year? Assuming we cant get MHJ

  10. Almost every player the Giants drafted has gone on to perform better for other teams. ALMOST EVERY FUCKING ONE! - this obviously means that the OL coaching on the Giants is piss fucking poor. Even a broken clock is right twice a day - it cannot mean that EVERY guy we drafted for the OL sucks balls right? Bobby Fuck needs to go - just the fact that the Bills OL is better (without any significant upgrade at talent) after he left is indication. And with the no. of pointless Prime Time games we played, even fans of the rest of the league have also realised how pathetic our OL is. With this fucking OL, Saquon is at 916 yrds and after missing time too is a miracle. 83 sacks allowed - thats a record!

The thing about the "no help" argument is it's not like the Giants haven't tried.

The Giants have drafted more Oline the top 10/first two round than ANY team the last 15 years.

I believe I read on Reddit the Giants have taken more Oline in the top 15 than the entire AFC the last 10 years lol

And I understand the draft is sometimes a crap shot, but there's a serious systemic problem the last decade amount the Giants that they can't develop or acquire talent.

Yeah I know. I had mentioned this earlier. The entire Oline scouting staff and coach over the last 8-10 years need to be shot. How does every guy go to another team and become servicable or a starter?? Ereck Flowes?? Seriously?? Fix the fucking trenches! Eagles and 9ers have done that. But the Ravens man - that is a team i envy in terms of team building

Yeah, I wanted to lose out weeks ago, but when game is close, I find myself still rooting for our Giants.  Win against GB was a fun one.  Keeping it close against the Eagles was fun.  And the fact they're still playing hard at this point of the season speaks very well of the coaches and should not go unnoticed.

But yeah, play hard and lose these last two please...though if close, I am sure I'll find myself cheering for Blue

This is the part where it is heartwrenching!! You want them to lose - but at the same time you wish they can beat these MOTHERFUCKING ASSHOLES!! LANE JOHNSON DOES SHIT EVERY PLAY AND THEN WE GET CALLED FOR A PENALTY??? REALLY???.....but anyway....just want them to lose to hope to land MHJ

  13. Giants have completely fucked up both DJ and Barkley by over drafting them and giving them ZERO help. Both of them ended up getting pummelled, had injuries - basically, I would like to visualize what DJ or Barkley could have been say behind an Eagles or 49ers type of Oline.

DJ got his bag due to a stroke of luck with timing, Barkley shouldve taken his extension when offered mid-season plus the overall RB value is dipping. But if anything, in this lost season, Barkley has been one of the few players playing hard.

I think SF is the team to beat in the NFC. The Giants are in the top 5 now in draft position.

I had anyway predicted a Ravens - 9ers SB - but the Niners got their ass handed to them - Purdy was more Turdy yest - this is what he does when faced with a legit Defense.

The refs seem to have moved on Mahomes's dick sucking and moved on to Purdy - so if the re-match happens I think the Niners win. Mahomes has been acting like an absolute bitch the last few weeks because the refs have not been giving him the benefit of all calls and along with him Kelce has also started PMSing with Taylor Swift. So right now, Purdy is the Ref's golden boy.
