  1. See, be more clear. Youre talking his attitude when at practice, games etc? Yeah, he had that problem in PITT too. But the incident that he got jailed for was a paperwork issue. He didnt do anything bad. So why wouldnt he want to return to the bright lights of the big city?

right just a paperwork issue. from florida. he's a complete victim

    listen to your buddy.

  2. Because you already did, huh? lol.....You gotta come to a Giants MB, google everything and then act smug. How pathetic.

i verify to make sure i'm stating facts and not just talking out of my ass.

maybe you should give that some thought

  3. Why dont you do it Einstein.

i'll dispose of your argument in 3 sentences, and i'll be nice about it. ;)

    1. Peyton also made the playoffs his second year. But to be fair he did have a whole 16 game season his first year.

    2. Eli has already missed the playoffs more than Peyton has, despite having less time in the league.

    3. Peyton has been to playoffs 11 times with 8 wins (twice as many as elisha) and 10 losses.

    rack em

  4. And you should think harder dipshit. My reason for bringing up you not bein over us beatin you, is because youre calling the SB a fluke. I told a retarded monkey this same thing, he got it the 1st time.

you obviously have done little more than skim over this thread

after you've done youre homework we can start class

  5. lets look at reese's promise:

Mr. Reese told me that two years from the start of the 2008 league year, if I was currently playing at a high level, we?d either renegotiate my current contract so that it would be equal to that of the top five defensive ends playing or I would be traded to a team that would do that.

so 2 years after that was 1 year of him being in injured reserve, and 1 year of him losing his starting job during the season. is that playing at a high level?

sorry guys i thought throwing a couple of bananas fucking in there would make it obvious i was being sarcastic

every player at some point in their career is going to be lied to by their gm. it's nature of the biz

  6. Dipshit, like I told your alter ego the dog, I dont try to google stats or repeat what beat writers have wrote to sound knowledgeable. I talk shit to non Giant fans. :)

I know, I know, the Giants werent as bad as the Colts when each entered their team. Not the point dippy. You said just makin it to the playoffs counts regardless of what happens once in. And you said this INSIDE a Peyton/Eli thread. It took Eli alot less time to make the playoffs.

does anyone want to help this guy out, or am i gonna have to do it?

  7. True, but Plaxs gun accidentally went off. Everyone carries a gun, esp. atheletes. What he did wrong was a paperwork issue. Not like Vick who REALLY needed rehabilitation. He just needs to know he cant carry a concealed weapon in NY. Other than that, he's fine.

    if you say so.

  8. Of course it will affect everyone, but the teams with new coaches and new systems to install are really gonna be behind the 8 ball.

naturally, which is why i'm saying they'll be rocking by week 4. i expect at least 3 preseason games.

yes garrett will have basically the same system and still call the plays.

and i am expecting some bad defensive play out of the gate

  9. Sounds like your still refusing to accept we took you out of the playoffs after such a promising yr that yr. This is why I think you are badegg. ;)

yes, i refuse to accept it. i've petitioned Roger Gotohell to have that changed, as well as the president and congress. I made the case that our year was so promising, so i'm sure they'll see it my way.

    :jerkoff:

  10. I am just happy that Eli didn't decide to run because he would have surely fumbled after taking an ugly slide. :smartass:

I appreciate the fact you can laugh at your own team. I do the same on the cowboys boards and usually take some heat for it. people take this stuff too seriously sometimes.

  11. Sure. This is a message board, responding is part of the game.

And we're discussing Peyton and Eli, not their teams.

no wonder the hotdog gets a hard on for you.

i'll let one of your own kind bring you back to reality on this one.

    :jerkoff:

  12. Thank you Daddy Burress, Im sure Plax is glad he has you as a mentor.

So many things he could prove, and your stuck on the firearm incident. lol

hey i'm saying that not as a hater but as a human being. football should be the least of his worries considering he has a family.

  13. Do you honestly think that a disrupted start to the season and a new coach who can't even talk to his players yet, let alone install his system, bodes well for the Boys prospects? You have to expect some time will be need for adjustment.

I think the disrupted offseason (season will start on time) will affect every team. I have a lot of respect for Rob, so I think he'll come in and get the defense rocking by maybe week 4. He's promising non-stop pressure, and i'm more excited about that than worried about the delayed camp.

My biggest worry is the o-line. Smith is expected to play LT, but considering the off-season I just don't see it happening soon.

what I expect is more team discipline, more offensive balance, a lot more pressure on defense, and some semblance of an offensive line that hopefully doesn't involve alex barron. if all that is met, we are playoff bound.

  14. I would say it was a pleasant surprise when you have Burress/Toomer in the first two WR slots, and you are sharing time with 3 other guys in that 3rd WR slot, two of which are 2nd rounders that the team was trying to justify. Especially when one of those three turns out to be Steve Smith.

He wasn't going to outplay Burress. Toomer turned out to have some nice years once he stopped getting double-teamed. And no one in their right mind would keep Smith on the bench in favor of Tyree once Smith was drafted. And Domenik Hixon isn't a horrible WR, either: albeit not a starter. (Oh, that would be a guy with bad hands, if you ask me.)

He wouldn't still be playing--he never really recovered from his knee injury; and he no longer had the speed he had as a gunner. Tyree never really had WR speed, and that was known when he was drafted. I wouldn't put too much stock in what you've read about him after he was released here. He just wasn't right, and it was obvious at that point.

It's not an insurmountable scenario, either. And if it had come down to 4th and 5, and they made it, would that have been a fluke?

I've always considered that play amazing simply because you almost NEVER see two players rising to that level in the same play. You'll see a QB get away from a crazy rush and make an easy completion; you'll see a QB make a typical pass while the WR makes an insane circus catch--but what makes that play unique is it happened all at once. I find that to be more a testament to the competitive desire of Manning and Tyree on that day than simple dumb luck. YMMV.

fair enough on tyree. like i said, i don't know a whole lot about him.

no not insurmountable, but certainly the odds are stacked against you.

that depends. 4th and five completion to an open wr without the circus show then no, it's no fluke. 4th and 5, busted play, manning escapes the grasp of multiple defenders, then heaves a duck toward a covered wr, who then pins it to his helmet while defender pulls at his arms, then you have a fluke on your hands.

it is an amazing play. and you're right. you never see that, ever. which is why non gints fans consider it a fluke play.
