I dont think the formation means nearly as much as finding 11 guys who want to play the game at maximum effort and speed We need a DC who can motivate men........Perry Fewell does not impress me as a cheerleader/motivator. We suffer from "Affluenza" an abundance of Lombardi's Mathmatically we should only be winning a SB every 32 yrs not every 4 years

I'm in total agreement..........this is O'hara all over again. Coughlin would rather put limps and gimps out there than sit his favorites. Petrus should have been brought back to fill Snee's Torn Labrum spot............Boothe should be the Center and Baas cut.

why dont they move Kiwauka back to the line and use Tuck as a situational LBer........remember the time Tuck chased down Tomlinson from behind?

Could it be we were brought down by many factors 1- Injury 2- poor coaching 3- Poor QB play in the 2nd half of the year 4- lack of desire and motivation

Actually Coughlin is so old and out of touch........ I would support Romeo as HC.......he is a Bellicheck disciple and has good motivational skills...........no one could turn around KC......not possible

Its not Jerry Reese's fault here are your suspects- Eli Manning Tom Coughlin Perry Fewell Justin Tuck JPP David Baas Correy Webster plus we have lost a lot of time/talent to injury- the loss of Andre Brown probably cost us our season If any of those 7 guys had earned their pay, we would be NFC East Champs.........I'd get rid of all of them except Eli and JPP

I think after reading this post, everyone is to blame and nobody is to blame. One thing is for sure if the Giants win a SB and you give Coughlin a contract extension you automatically get an under-motivated team. Fewell is an enigma.......he ocassionaly dials up a good game like the San Fran Game, then he goes back to his bend but not break nonsense

David Baas was the worst move Reese ever made......the 49rs are still laughing about that one Eli's whole game is stepping up, the draw (our favorite play Duhhhh) is an up the middle play.........Baas is as mich to blame for ourt demise as anyone.

Joe I've always thought Football was a game of desire as much as athleticism This team just does not want it enough, and you cannot win by just showing up with an all star team

I'd say something positive like we could have a great off season, but Coughlin refuses to play rookies so who cares. Tommy should hang it up. no one is listening to him. Case in point, Ruben Randle looked great yesterday.........where was he all year long?

I was not in love with the theme of this topic when you 1st posted it VA Giant Now you have proven to be a prophet. Back in the day we were terrible but had no players so it was fun just to get a few wins. This team disgusts me. They have the talent to win, and have shown that in 3 blowouts of good teams this year. They have no heart, no hunger, and basically layed down at the most crirtical time of the year. The 2008 team had a similar smell to it.......just fell apart at the end. Press clippings drove this team to lay down like dogs. I do not know who is to blame.....players, coaches, injuries whatever.. I'm looking forward to an exciting NFL playoffs, rooting for Seattle, and rooting for Notre Dame. It may be years and years and years (I'm thinking 2018) before the Giants return to being contenders. I wonder if the Giants put Eli on the trading block what they would get in return......I'm guessing not a whole lot. PS- Appeal to Tom Coughlin- please activate Ojomo this week and let us see what could have been, if anything. He is our Tebow......never given a chance to prove his critics right or wrong

Fewell was a HC at Buffalo wasnt he.......how did that work out He has about as much chance of a HC job as Sanchez does of ever being an NFL starting QB again.........both have a timid streak that betrays them Every once and a while Fewell gets aggressive and the results are spectacular with our personnel but mostly he is content to rush 4
