  1. I NEVER said that I don't love the way he plays the game. I never said he isn't a monster out there. I never said that he isn't the most exciting player that this franchise has had in a long time, I also specifically said that I hope that toning down his post touchdown exuberance wouldn't have any effect on his performance or production. I just feel that he needs to learn to tone it down a bit. You all saw him get flagged for taunting after his first TD. You all saw him hand the ball back to the ref after his second TD. Apparently, I'm not the only one who feels that way. Anyway, I guess you folks disagree with me. Opinions are like assholes! Everybody's got one! Have a great holiday, everyone!
  2. Sorry I just think he needed to rein it in a bit. Obviously, I'm not the only one who thinks so, since he did NOTHING after his second TD
  3. I disagree with the last part of that post. With Cruz he does the same thing every single time. With Beckham it seems he is a bit out of control when he scores.
  4. I was very happy to see that (lack of) celebration. I guess he got a talking to at halftime.
  5. I personally think it could be an excellent learning experience for him. Especially if the Giants were to lose this game. He had a taunting penalty called against him. It was the Rams going after HIM that cased 3 teammates to get kicked out. I think especially if the Giants lost this game, because of the ejections, quite a number of teammates would have a word with him, hopefully calming down his celebrations. I certainly wouldn't want his production to be reduced as a result of reduced enthusiasm, but he has to learn to act like he has done it before. He and Cruz are hopefully going to combine to make this an exceptional offense next season, but he has to learn that drawing stupid penalties is unacceptable.
  6. I expected him to say little, and convey little. I was pleasantly surprised! Go Eli!
  7. I grudgingly have to agree. The whole thing should be blown up. Eli, who was the bright spot on this team, looked like shit. He leads the world in picks that aren't his fault, but those picks today were ALL on him. Eli and Coughlin do not have time to go through the rebuilding project that this team has become. BOTH lines need to be completely rebuilt. The defense is HORRIBLE. There is virtually no pass rush. Never thought I would see a Giants team without linebackers. That's almost hard to fathom. Good idea in moving Tom upstairs. Keep him in the organization, but put him in the Ring of Honor and get him off the sideline. At his age, he doesn't need this crap. And I also agree with you about Eli. Let him play out his contract, as this crapfest isn't his fault for the most part. But Start playing Nassib, or get the heir apparent and start bringing him along.
  8. Unfortunately, I have to agree with you there. This team will not be where it needs to be any time soon...almost assuredly not in time to be on a par with Eli, who is having a great year, especially considering what he has to work with. I love seeing guys in sports play their whole career with one team, but it would be a shame to see Eli waste the last 4 or 5 years of his career on a team that is going nowhere. The fan in me wants this to not be true, but the realist in me knows better. Strange how Eli's career is almost Harry Carson's in reverse.
  9. Bradshaw did not do well enough. I lost by 4 fuckin points! Dammit!!! Oh, and he is pulling a Flamer and hanging out in ATNFL huh? He must be awfully hard headed. guess I REALLY offended him (which I honestly can't see being the case since I didn't say anything I haven't said many times before), o It really is a shame though. Oh well, people come and go I guess. It was fun while it lasted.
  10. Still no sign of him, huh? I had absolutely no idea that I was even offending him. That all just came out of nowhere! After all the times I gave him crap about the Spanglish, and he goes off on me for pretty much nothing? I figured he would have returned by now.
  11. Hope Bradshaw does well.... not well enough to beat us though. I traded for him even up for AJ Green earlier this week in my fantasy league.
  12. That I try to watch two sports at the same time! I was watching Jeter's last game in the final innings and postgame, while trying to watch the Giants at the same time. I thought I had done a decent job, but reading posts on here, I realize I missed a lot, and didn't get into the flow of the game until pretty late. I need to get another television!
  13. Shit, you'd cut Eli's picks at least in half!
  14. So very true. It seems to me that Giants fans have the thing that should always be "checkmate" in an argument with Eagles fans, but those jealous dolts just come back with the same old line.... "Stop living in the past".
  15. You try to sing. You sound like a dying animal. You suck. End of explanation!
  16. LOL! Yep That's what I was doing! Post # 60.
  17. I didn't mean you Rik. I was addressing that to BG. I was referring to the post he made where he misspelled "truly" while telling Pdouble he fixed his post. I call him Screecher because of his OBVIOUS singing ability! cough cough...
  18. I've loved what I have seen from him so far! Eli NEEDS a TE who can catch the ball. (Ballard, Boss, Bennett). I hope the Giants have found that guy in Donnell.
  19. When you "fix" somebody's post, it's usually best if you don't misspell words. That way everyone might not realize that it's you by your horrific spelling. I "truely" mean it, Screecher!
  20. It's hard to believe that we went from "In Reese We Trust" to "How is Reese Gonna Fuck This Draft Up?" in only a few short years!
