  1. Well...if the game plan wasn't shit I think his emotions would be much better. Imagine you have about 3 and a half minutes and are down by 2 scores. Would the best option be dump offs to Rainey or I don't know throw to your 2 pro-bowl WRs? I'm starting to wonder if the anger is towards the coaching and not the other team.

  2. That happened multiple times in the 4th where Norman was caught peeking inside. Seems the Redskins D knew the Giants weren't going deep and started playing the short routes more. Worked but a 3 WR go route would have been sure TD in the 4th. There is good reason Beckham was getting frustrated but he should have been talking it out with Manning and Sullivan instead of being a child.

  3. Thus far in his career, Eli Manning has faced the Minnesota Vikings 8 times. In those games, he has thrown 5 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Of those interceptions, 5 have been returned for a touchdown, the most by any team that he has played against.

Also the last trips to Minnesota have been great. Last year OBJ is suspended and the time before that the dome collapses. :(

  4.

If you go to his twitter and watch some of the videos about him in the offseason he does seem like he's coming into the "diva NFL" player quite well.

He's an emotional guy (I think we've all seen that) I mean you're blowing Norman up on back to back plays and your HC/OC decides to suddenly put the game in Raineys hands.

    He was just frustrated.

Can you blame him though? The game is on the line and you're not throwing to arguably the best WR in the league. Some fans feel that this type of behaviour is bad but I think it's an asset. He's clearly very competitive and wants to win.

  5. Kirk was playing scared for some reason. DJax was wide open half the game and he couldn't see him.

From what I've read this was the issue last game. Maybe that $20 million good life is making him question getting smashed once a week. I think this is just a case of Derek Anderson where he played well over expectation for 1 year and now everyone is realising...ohhh right...Cousins.

  6.

There's quite a bit of disagreement on why things went bad for RGIII... latest thing I heard is that Shanahan & crew knew he couldn't play QB at the NFL level as a drop back passer... not yet, at least. But Bob insisted that he was a pocket passer, threw a bitch fit to ownership, and got the play book twisted... and if you go back and look at the plays he got hurt, supposedly - I'm parroting some analysts on this - these were designed pocket plays that RGIII just completely fucked up; he had no clue how to protect himself in the pocket, and ended up leaving the pocket and running like an idiot into some big hits.

So the story goes that Shanahan was trying to protect him with a one and two read, college/high school style offense.... and that Bob's insanely inflated ego got the best of both of them.

I can believe that. I watched the Cleveland game and he has zero pocket presence. He basically runs straight back and stands there. If the middle opens he'll run or turn around and run to the sides. I don't think he knows how to shuffle at all. Eli maybe an athletic sloth but his pocket presence and ability to shuffle into space is artistic.

Also after the injury of course RGIII tweeted about god's plan. I think god's plan is going to be forced retirement.

  7. On the flip side - we cant afford to give up those 10-11 min drives - even if it ends up with a FG - the drive is just too damn fucking long and it happened multiple times. And Id like to see the offense score on the ground regularly in the red zone. The first 2 attempts in the red zone were fade tosses to Odell until Cruz got he TD. Id like to see regular off the edge old school running TDs - off tackly style. Similar to what DeAngelo Williams or David Johnson were scoring for example. We look better than last year - we definitely look like we can win the division - but we need to be able to beat the Cards, Panthers, Hawks, Pats, Steelers etc - for that we still have a lot to improve.

That fade to Odell just needs to be burned. I turned to the kid and said fade to Odell. I think next game he'll be saying it also.

  8.

He looked big enough to run DRC over if necessary and we were fortunate he didn't know better. Prescott didn't know much better either. Watching the Lions/Colts game right after the Giants/Cowboys you saw Stafford yelling at receivers to get out of bounds and stop fighting for yards.

Williams definitely should have tried but DRC played that perfectly and is a good tackler. I think Williams was in a no win situation there. Good D play to block out sidelines. Going to be an interesting second game when Prescott has more experience.

  9. i agree Joe ....... always hated the Nassib pick .....and he has proven to be a worthless backup.

I'm beginning to think that McAdoodle-doo just talks total bullshit at his press conferences.

First he says that Williams is bouncing back and is going to have a big year with the Giants , next he says he is comfortable with Nassib and only 2 QBs .....and now this. ( Didnt we just guarantee Brinkley $1.7 M )

He is which begs the question...why not cut Herzlich?

  10. Sometimes those non contact injuries are the worst. No idea how or why though.

Like the college running back whose knee pretty much fell apart when he was casually running out of bounds.

They are. If you read non-contact knee injury then it's season over. Nelson last year and look how long Cruz is taking. I'd imagine it's ligament fatigue and muscle imbalance that causes these issues.
