When the blowout started I switched to the Jacksonville game. Coughlin didn't build this team but I guarantee he's helping bring a culture of winning. For a team that consistently underachieves that is a big step.
-
Goff did but when we are arguing here (about throwing Eli in) Manning was the number one pick and Webb was definitely not. I guarantee if Eli is benched for Smith or Webb within the week we'll be clamouring for that shitty Eli play.

Jebus...what a dumpster fire this season is becoming.
-
Not sure I want to see Eli throwing 4 INTs in a game. But you are right that drive where he completed 3 passes in a row for 6 yards was pretty fucking ridiculous.
I would; fuck it Eli is best Eli. This garbage that is being trotted out now is brutal.

Well he did draft an OLineman in this years draft.
-
Trading him to the Jags looks like a brilliant idea. TC is there!
If I am Eli I'd take the trade before the Broncos very ugly game.

Suspended indefinitely
This would be funny if it weren't my team.
EAST RUTHERFORD — Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie remains suspended indefinitely after meeting with coach Ben McAdoo at the team's facility Thursday morning.
The Giants' veteran cornerback has started four of five games this season for a team whose season has gone off the rails at 0-5 after starting with Super Bowl aspirations.
Coach Ben McAdoo made the announcement Wednesday regarding Rodgers-Cromartie, who had expressed his displeasure with the coaching staff over his existing role, according to a source.
Rodgers-Cromartie met with McAdoo on Tuesday, and it was then that Rodgers-Cromartie was told he was going to be inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos in Denver, according to a team source. Rodgers-Cromartie showed up at the team facility Wednesday morning, spent time in the locker room and departed prior to practice. His leaving resulted in McAdoo and the team deciding on the suspension, which at this point is indefinite.
McAdoo is currently not scheduled to speak with the media Thursday after practice, but requests have been made for that to change.
Rodgers-Cromartie has been placed on the reserve/suspended list and cornerback Donte Deayon has been promoted to the 53-man roster from the practice squad to take his place.
The maximum suspension allowed by the NFL's collective bargaining agreement is four weeks. Rodgers-Cromartie loses $410,588 in pay each week he's suspended.
"DRC came in [Tuesday]. We had a conversation that was personal upstairs and he came in [Wednesday]. Decided to leave. We will suspend him," McAdoo said. "We had a conversation [Tuesday]. He came into the building [Wednesday] morning. Decided to leave and we will put him on suspension."
When reached after news of his suspension went public Wednesday, Rodgers-Cromartie reportedly told ESPN that he “handled it the wrong way, but to sit me a game had me hot, so I left. I was suspended way before I left. I left [because] I felt what he said was BS."
Rodgers-Cromartie, 31, is one of the Giants’ most respected players, a second-team All-Pro last season and a vital part to the defense’s success in 2016.

Fuck...same here.
On all the OBJ crying here's food for thought. When Owens was pulling these theatrics it was terrible but now that it's our guy it's cool and he is just intense? Remember how much we mocked this?
-
I legit think the over/under is .5 win. If we win one game he keeps his job
I concur, the injuries will help him deflect because of last season.
-
You know what...I could get behind this. If he prowls the sidelines with his WTF face I'd be definitely in.
-
Give him a few more games and I'm sure he would consider waiving the clause.
-
Well he's got his scapegoat now. One more year of misery to come.
-
It is, shows date of 1/5/16 or January 5, 2016.
-
Big time but he was brought in specifically because of running Peyton's system. Coughlin's biggest fuck up was trying change a vet. Eli is doing the best he can but I feel this system doesn't suit him at all.
-
Chargers will be our first victory
It's now the, a team has to win game. Having said that this game will end in a tie frustrating us all.
-
I guarantee Quinn is telling him to angle it to the sidelines instead of just having faith in Wing's hang time, leg strength, and the punt coverage. Angling has never really been what Wing does. He's no Jeff Feagles.
The coaching staff has decided to Matt Dodge his career.
-
its why he fell in the draft, he was a head case long before the NFL.
It's more than likely with this level of injury a large percentage occurred in college. He didn't play long enough for this to all NFL related.
-
Another fun fact; the Giants are tied with the Browns, Chargers, 49ers and Bengals with no wins. Let that group percolate for a while.
-
Could be. I wonder if he pushed hard for Webb. He's pretty freaking mobile according my scouting (madden 18)
I just find it strange that he singles out Eli but not the last place run game or Flowers lack of everything. This stinks of McAdoo trying to remove Eli.
-
Which does explain why he consistently throws Eli under the bus. I'd imagine McAdoo wants his guy but is saddled with Eli. If the Giants implode it'll be Eli last year and management will let McAdoo get his QB. This is why I don't think he'll relinquish play calling to Sullivan because if the O shows life he'll be the fall guy. If the O shits the bed again this year he can try and send the old Eli out to pasture.
-
The question I have is, what is different last year and now? Why do I feel like we took a million steps back this year? We did win games lastyear, so what makes this year different that we started off 0-2 but we looked awful in both?
OBJ and the D played lights out.

So who will McAdoo throw under the bus after this game?
-
Fire who though; McAdoo? Sullivan had play calling responsibilities in the last pre-season game and the O seemed functional.
-
I'm not...
When Jacksonville becomes a good team again you will. TC is a great coach.
When do we see Webb?

I agree. This team just needs better coaching. McAdoo unfortunately was Peter Principled and clearly can't handle it. The Giants have many good players at key positions but unfortunately they are being setup to fail with poor coaching.
