I for one hope he stays. Unless we can get BB, there isnt anyone available who's better than him. Who are we going to get, Green? No thanks.
-
Kind of ironic that Coughlin tried overly hard to instill discipline and his team has none today.
Anyway, Shannon Sharpe said, "I would rather die in an abandoned building alone, and my family not know what happened, than play for Coughlin."
i just saw that in a daily news article and had to laugh and remind you all of it.
It's just reason 647 why he should get fired.
Your waisting your time, if you really think Coughlin is getting fired this off season. Next year the schedual is much more friendly. Brandon Jacobs will take the league by storm. We will win the division, and extend Coughlins contract. You'll see.
-
-
Jacobs is the man. We wont skip a beat. We wont get us 2000 like Tiki. But he will give us a constant 5 yards a carry. That kinda grinding offense is hard to stop. You'll see
-
I notice everyone wants to fire Coughlin. Who the hell do you think were going to get to replace him? He isnt going anywhere.
-
We are all about to find out how good of a play caller he is.
-
Dont buy the hype Nas, Coughlin isnt going anywhere. Giants just dont do things like that.
-
We are in. Cant ask for more than that. Any true fan would be rooting for them to go all the way. You can count me among those folks.
-
The Giants Org is not one to go by knee jerk reactions of fans or the media. I just hate to see everyone get there hopes up, when there is zero chance Coughlin gets fired this season.
-
The only thing wrong with Eli, is we dont play him to his strength. He needs the whole load put on his shoulders. Thats when he turns into an Animal
-
Its like you guys dont know the Giants at all. Coughlin will be here for at least the next 2 years.
-
It will be good to get Strahan back, but it kinda sucks Kiwi will have to sit again. I thought him and Osi were starting to look pretty good together. And it was only Osi's second game back.
-
I have to go back to Mark Collins of the 80's-90's Giants to find another rookie that could play from Game 1.
Yea, "Ever had" was a bold statment., but it has been a long time.
-
He's better than any rookie CB we ever had.
-
Dude, Weinke had 50 something attempts...they couldn't run the ball and played from behind...of course they are gonna have mad yards. I'll take the 3 picks and 400 yards.
Even worse, he had 60 somthing attempts.
Dockery is a rookie. Im very exited about his performance. Cant wait to see some more of this kid.

They were saying the Giants team was expecting Coughlin to be pissed this morning at the meeting. Instead they said Coughlin was "upbeat"...WTF!? Why would a "Disciplinarian" be upbeat after 4 personal foul calls? If this jackass isn't gone next year, I give up on watching football.
Might as well stop watching now then. No way does the Giants Fire him this year. Besides, what he was doing wasnt working, maybe this will.

I thought its was a late hit. Other than that, your right on man.

I gotta say this one more time, for the record. Eli is JUST LIKE HIS BROTHER. For the second striaght week we saw Eli go into the no huddle for one drive. BOTH times Eli marched down the field and scored with EASE. Took total control, and made smart, accurate throws, like he was playing back yard football, and having alot of fun. That is the soul problem with this offense. Its in the hands of the wrong man. You give Eli complete control of this offense, you have a championship, in no time.
BTW anyone who thinks Coughlin is getting fired this off season, doesnt know the Giants very well.
-
After last week I have serious doubts that we could win even 2 more games. But I'll be there to drowned with them. Any fool can see the ship is sinking.
-
Romo will have to answer these questions on the field, but he does have the distinct advantage of playing in the NFC. Outside of Chicago and New Orleans — who appear to have the talent to give Dallas problems
The rest of the league are weak, especially the Giants!
I wish I could disagree with him.
-
The ship has sunk. See you guys next year.
-
One thing to me is painfully obvious. Eli is just like his brother. Peyton is great, cause he calls all the shots. If he were made to go with a game plan, he wouldnt do as well as he does. Last week we gave the ball to Eli for one series and said, its all up to you, you call the plays, you make the adjustments, its all on you. What happened? Eli marched down the field and scored a TD with no problem. Thats basicaly what happens every time we hand him the play calling. Yet we STILL have Huf calling the shots
-
Just a observation- When we went into no huddle and Eli was calling the shots, we moved down the field and scored like it was no thing. Just an observation

Sorry to hear that, your missing out on a great video. It shows almost every play hes had as a Giant. My God, they cant stop him when they know he's getting the ball. Whats going to happen when they dont know he's getting it?
To me, this video shows the kid has it all. Great speed, strength, vision. He'll go around you, over you, and if he has too, he'll go through you. Kid even has good hands, catching outta the back field, or on screens. I trully havent seen such dominance since the likes of cats like , LT, Ray lewis, LD. I cant wait to see this kid in a whole game.
