Im glad Jacobs is getting practice against a blitz happy agressive defense. Its that type of D that concerns me regarding him. He is going to have to find ways to make things happen, even when there is nothing there. I think the improvment of our defense alone will bring us at least 2 more wins than last year.

Ive said that about this kid ever since I saw him play for the Giants. You got big backs that can run you over in the league, but not like this guy. He's special. AT first, he was just running people over from 3 yds out for the TD or 1st down. Then, he started catching the ball out of the backfield, showed he has decent hands. And then he started breaking long runs, punishing D's and making them stack the line more. That will open the passing game tremendously. He is going to be awesome, I can feel it. I really like his direction, his motivation. A wife and kid will do it to you, trust me.

The Dog has to disagree here, and the Dog is no fan of Fassel...Coughlin's record aside, the team has to grow with a coach, and it appears that this team has digressed in that aspect over his tenure...that being said, the Dog thinks this team's issues have to do a lot with ego and attitude, and that is dangerous for any coach that may take over...the point the Dog has to really disagree on is the contention that the NFC was not weak last year...it appears that there is all evidence to the contrary...
