Yea you could be right, its been awhile.

I think this offense is going to be really good. With of course Barkley being the X factor. First half of the season the D is gonna have some growing pains, but should be much improved by the second half. I don't know if it will be enough to get a wild card, but even if not, this year will be at least a big step towards dominance on both sides of the ball for next year. I just hope they don't go blowing all that upcoming cash on a Eli extension.

I think it was wise not playing Jones against the Jets first team. This upd his chances of having decent first outing. More of a confidence builder then anything. Though Im not certain he wouldnt have done just fine if he had started.

This also keeps the press off Jones back for one week too, then if he did start and did as bad as Eli.

Exactly BC. Obviously the decision to not try to resign him was strictly a business decision. Unlike Odell, Collins was respected in NY. Now he is swimming in cash, with little to nothing at all to complain about.
