Josh Banks was waived. But to your point slide in Tomlinson and have Wynn fill in at DE, and now that I think of it, Mauro will be back after his 4 game suspension, so when he's back, that puts us back up to 6 DL, so I'm not as concerned.

Because all thing being equal, in terms of backup QB capability, keeping Tanney over Webb makes no sense. McGloin, who has NFL starting experience and passable production during that time, no pun intended, kind of makes sense.
