  1. Claude Wroten is up to there talents...but Wroten has some big character issues, so that may be a concern. And I wouldnt take Watson if he was there in the 3rd round.... he lacks motive
  2. If we had Ngta on our d-line with Osi and Strahan...I think our d would be unstoppable. same with Bunkley so is it worth giving up some picks?
  3. Michael Huff (S, CB) Thomas Howard (OLB) Orien Harris (DT) Dee Webb (CB) ROUND4 !!!!$$$$!!!!! I think the Niners D is set for a while now at all 3 levels...
  4. so we have 3 strong side LB's...a MLB...and 0 weakside LB's this spells out what we will be doing draft day
  5. I actually read that on some draft website...although it had no impact on my decision at all as 49ers GM
  6. just got back from the Mall and I get Orien Harris!!! Michael Huff will bring excellent versatility and atletisism to the San Fran D Thomas Howard is a great fit in the 3-4 scheme since he is a great blitzer and has some room to add some weight to his 238 pound body...he is also 6-3 and is an outstanding athlete....with some time he could be a fantastic football player. Orien Harris is a good pick as well...he may not be very fast...but is quick enough and explosive enough to be a 3-4 DE or a 4-3 DT..BESIDES who needs a good 40 time to play DT?.he has some versatility there and has the tools to become a real good DT...Babatunde Oshinowo would have been my other pick so the San Fran D has youth and a ton of natural talent at DL, LB and DB...all three levels of the D
  7. thanks...and it looks like I got who I wanted for the most part, Huff and Howard should be nice fits in San Fran
  8. I am assuming that all these times are PM right? stupid q but just being safe... and I will be here for round 3!
  9. very good move by the Jets...very very good he is young, will get a lot of INT's and is athletic
  10. I think that he is a guy who will either be great...or awful He is a rare athlete he has 4.51 speed, is extremely quick and explosive, is very strong despite his size and had a 37 inch vert He is 6-0 230 and does not have the frame to add more weight So would he be worthwhile? He will definately take some time and will be a bit of a project but it could payoff real well
  11. I am sorry but this is like apples and oranges here...
  12. I really like what I hear about Johnson...I never saw him play, but from what I have read he is a great athlete who just needs to add some bulk and motivate himself a little more
  13. dont take it personel man...jeez next time I wont reply at all, I like Johnson but dont think he will last that long
  14. Ryans and Lewis are the only ones I liked
  15. Round 1: Antonio Cromartie (if Sims is gone) He is an incredibly gifted athlete, who is 6-3 210 and runs a sub 4.4. He had a 41 inch vert and has excellent ball skills. He may need some time to develop though since he only played 2 years in college. Everyone thinks that if he stayed one more year he could have been a top 10 pick. He is coming off an injury but judging by his combine he looks 100%. This team could use a great talent in our secondary with good ball skills. Round 2 : Orien Harris (DT) Lacks elitebulk as a 2 gap DT, but is thickly built and has plenty of strength to still become a very good DT. He is not very athletic but is very quick and very strong. He is a beast against the run and will get a good amount of sacks. I consider him one of the more underated players in this years draft. Round 3: Brandon Johnson (OLB) He is very tall at 6-5 but is light at 230. He has extremely good speed and rare athletic ability for a LB that tall. He ran the 40 in 4.47 seconds. Has good quickness and makes plays sideline to sideline. Takes good angles, will tip a lot of passes when blitzing and will get to the QB a lot. Is very good in coverage and in the run game. He has very good ball skills. His only problem is that he doesnt always play at a consistent level and will shy away from some contact and will take a play off here and there. It is a stretch to take him in round 3...but I like him. Round 4: Johny Jolly (DT) Is a huge man at 6-3 320 and is a excellent two gao player who can play NT as well. A very high energy player who gives a ton of effort and gets a good jump on the snap every play. He is excellent in run D and will not get many sacks at all, but rushes the QB all the time. He tends to play high at times and does not have very good stamina. Round 5: T.J. Williams (TE, FB, H-Back) Is versatile and is a H-Back type of guy. He is a good athlete, has great instincts and is extremely reliable when catching the ball. This is the guy that this offense has been missing. He reminds me a lot of Chris Cooley. This is a guy that I am hoping EA will draft, and he is a sure pick who will definately be able to contribute right away. he is big to at 6-3 270. Round 6: Mike Kudla (if he makes it this far) He is as strong as you can possibly be at 265. He had 45 REPS AT THE COMBINE!!!! He is so strong and is pretty fast to with a 4.75 40 time. Is a very hard hitter and will force some fumbles. He lacks some quickness though. Is short at 6-1. He would be a steal in round 6. Round 7: Reggie Bush or Javon Nanton is Bush is no loner here.
  16. Damn Carter has ripped arms...that just goes to show you what a pure athlete he is to have muscle mass like that and weigh 202 pounds
  17. I actually like the signing now when I think about it...every team needs a speedy WR, and Tim is that guy for us...Taylor is a guy who can get downfield, but he is so fragile that it is just ridiculous
  18. you beat me to it... I like it...very cheap rate, but I consider him a real bad player...only 11 catches last year, including 2-3 drops taht could have easily been TD's
  19. Ha...incredible point, I didnt even think of that until now, ya that can NOT happen...
