BlueInCanada
Thought I would post this here. I thought I would pick up a baseball game for my 360 so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I know they released the new MLB games for this year, has anyone tried them? Thanks. Virginia Giant
I have MLB '08: The Show, bought it last spring and STILL play it damn near everyday. I believe '09 just came out. And I agree playing a game like that would help with understanding situations, and in The Show's case, the lingo, it does a fairly decent job of giving a rough outline on certain baseball rules, like the Infield Fly for example. I can only assume '09's vocab would be even greater.
BlueInCanada
Yeah MLB 2k9 just came out of something and I've read up on some of the reviews. I guess people don't like that they didnt improve much on it but it's still the best thing for the 360, I will probably considering picking it up. njsmalls
2k9 is the only choice you have on the 360. 2k sports has a 3rd party exclusivity deal with MLB. So, Sony can still make a game for their own system. If I had a PS3 I'd buy the show. I have MLB 2k7 and it's pretty much 2k's best baseball video game for the 360, I skipped last year and I'm skipping this year until they decide to release a better product. Virginia Giant
Oh I forgot The Show is only for playstation. Too bad, it's an amazing game.
LorfTVP
Just hasn't been the same since EA Sports was shoved out of the MLB game business. EA Sports, it's in the game. Plus they're the best sports company as far as I've seen.
