You think he's banking on an uncapped year after next season? He can bank on it and lobby for it all he wants...it won't happen. They might need to tweak the salary cap structure, but this league NEEDS the salary cap and the owners, the vast majority of them, realize that. I believe its the cap that makes the NFL so popular....it gives every team a chance to compete since there is no "one" team that can buy every player on the free agent market.
