  1. How old is your son?

Dude, COME DOWN! I am so stoked to meet some of you here. They got the NFL Experience the weekend before, Ill have my son, it'll be a blast!

My son is 10...and has played tackle football 2 years now. NFL experience is soooo cool. I was there in 1998 (like I've stated before). We'll hatfa see what I can do to arrange to come there to AZ.

  2. ABSOFRIGGINLOUTLEY!!! I'll be there with my kids and buddies. I actually am going to do some contracted work on the Sat before the game, handing out ESPN stuff. My friend got word that a Temp agency is looking for people to hand out stuff from ESPN, so I agreed. But other than that, I'll be there as much as possible. When I moved out here in 88', we moved to the part of town the stadium is in. I lived there for 18 years, before moving out here to the East valley. I dont know if you remember hearing the city "Mesa?" Its a city that borders Tempe. Im about 10 minutes from SunDevil Stadium. About 45 min from Cards new stadium. But most of my friends, Gmen fans spec., still live out there. Like walking distance from the new stadium. So I will be hanging out in that part of town for the next two weeks. You should see if you can make a short trip out here, check out some of the festivities.

Heard of Mesa, AZ. Been thru there in the 90's. My son and I MAY just hafta make a trip. Weekend before the Big Game....maybe?

notice the ny on Jacobs ans Bradshaws helmets

they sure must of been running hard last night.

Yo, Bradshaw took a 'hit' last night and his helmet stripe and 'N' flew off....HD really showed up the plastic pieces flying off in detail!

  4. Those bitches look like crack head hammers....Gorilla. But during the halftime show the tired looking one on the right can warm my sack for me. :P

They'll be in the next Maxim...the mag is already tryna contact them for a spread. Nasty ass pot belly hoes. ;)

  5. Great memories!

How far are you from Los Alamitos? My Uncle on my Dad's side is some big wig for the city, like a planner or something, and he lives Newport Beach.

I live inland.....but Los Angeles and the greater area is only 100 miles from us.

Yo, will you be attending all of the weekly festivities in your area prior to the BIG GAME? I did that in 1998...the year that the SB was at Qualcomm...Green Bay vs Denver. I met all kinds of stars. Rod Woodson, Jason Sehorn, Nelly(rapper), Brian Mcknight (singer). Also that year the Yanks/Padres were in a World series and I was fortunate to see game one live at Qualcomm. I was in the nosebleeds in the outfield but I was there!

  6. Pam.....I am sorry....but I have a new love now.....yes I know we had something special..... :P

Yo, for real? Something about Pam Oliver (lately) that says "Damn she's hot!" I never really dug her but she was looking extra good last night. You can have TC and I'll take Pamela.... ;):P

  7. Tynes said he ran onto the field without permission for the winning kick. He said Cheerleader wanted to think it over....but that once he was out there he said Cheerleader did not call him back. God. *Whew*

Tynes redeemed himself in a HUGE way. They threw a stat up that NO kicker has made one at Green Bay for 40+ yds in the postseason. Thank U Tynes......!!!! :worshippy:

  8. Where will "Bad Weather" rank along with the normal excuses of "poor officiating" and "injuries" after yet another loss in a big game? Just gaging what the Monday morning will be like.

    Thank you in advance.

Another loss? Is he talking about Dallas 'another loss' in a playoff game? Anyway, it's Monday (BTW happy MLK day) and we Giants fans are discussing our fate. We sho' aint talking about Romo, Dallas or Terrell anymore (old news Egg). Can you say SUPERBOWL??? I though you could! Now say it with me EGG: "The Giants are going to the Superbowl and I will NEVER post on a Giant MB again".

    :LMAO: @Egg

  9. I just want to thank BadLegg for a season of nonsense and hubris that has served this team well.

Enjoy the SuperBowl and now (if my guess is correct) there will be the obligatory statement of "all you have to do to win the league's respect is to win). Something we've done countless times.

At this point, we're just going to play our asses off and see what shakes out; perhaps BadlEgg and other haters should start considering us a team of destiny.

I love the 'hate' that they show for these Giants. It made the Tampa Bay win, Dallas win and the Green Bay win that much sweeter.

  10. I'll apologize to Eli. After the Minnesota game, I was looking for plane tix back east so I could find him and kick his ass!

Hats off to Eli. I was so SUPER critical toward Eli earlier in the season....but for HIM to bounce back strong after that Minnesota game learned me something....IT taught me that Eli is really a fiery guy...he just doesn't 'wear it' a la that jerk Rivers. Rivers is fugazy, Eli is real....and I am sorry for ever doubting him.

Plax.....WOW!!!!! I knew he was gonna get off when they showed a replay of him coming off the line of scrimmage....Plax did this hop step and took off past Harris...I said "This guy has an ankle problem?" I knew Harris was in deep doo doo. Plus Harris didn't impress me when he tried to hold Terrell last time they played. Terrell got to Harris too!

    .

  11. Oh man doff, I didnt know that! We HAD to have high fived a few times then. Thats right about the time I moved here, well, a couple of years prior. I got here right when the Cards were moving here. Remember how easy it was to get prime seats? Just go to the ticket stand, buy a nosebleed cheapass ticket, and then walk down the numerous empty rows and pick a seat RIGHT BEHIND the Giant bench! Then, in that area, you'd be in a sea of Blue!!! Remember?

    Where ya live now?

Yes....!!! My friend and I would get these 30 dollar tickets...then move closer to the Giants bench. Both sideline seat sectoins would be filled with Giants fans on one side, Card fans on the other....and the End Zone sections would be scarcely filled. Dallas games would be packed (Snow Bird Dallas fans)...anyway me and my friend would get there early...go to the players tunnel and wait for the G men to come out for warmups....Lawrence Taylor, Charles Way, Howard Cross, etc...saw em all up close....even high fived some of them. I remember being at this one game Cards/Giants...and this drunk ass guy was being obnoxious. Like the beginning of the 3rd Q dood shit his pants (there was a breeze) and holy 'shit' it stunk!! Security threw hs shitty ass out.

We probably high fived it and didn't even know it. My last time I went to Tempe Stadium was during the year we made the Superbowl (and lost to the Ravens). We made the trip from San Diego to Tempe...that was the game when Fassel took over the play calling and said to the press 'we wont lose another game and this team WILL make the playoffs' . Kerry Collins was our QB then. I had shitty seats...the place was packed. Our seats was in the corner of the end zone.

I live in Cali now....110 miles north of San Diego in a town called Adelanto. Close to Victorville, CA. We're about 140 miles south of Vegas. I've lived in Tucson, San Diego, now here. Born in NYC.

  12. I'd like to apologize for being SUPER critical towards Eli. I was DEAD wrong. Eli is right on schedule to being a pretty damn good QB. 'Normal' QB's come around like Eli has, BUT 'normal' QBs don't do enough to lead the underdog to a Superbowl. I'm proud of Eli, I'm proud of these Giants and I wanna say a BIG FUCK U to Jimmy Johnson, Howie and Frank Caliendo!

  13. Oh SHIT!!! That is a bike....I always loved that chromium blue color scheme. I was never a Ninja (Honda) fan but that is a bad bike. What is it a 1000cc, 750 ? My bikes are a Kawasaki Concurs (big into sport touring) and a nice commuter bike a 1990 Yamaha Radian. Always wanted to get a BMW with the anti-lock breaking system....but first came marriage....then kids.....and my other hobbies. Guaranteed if I make it to AZ I will go with my bike passion full speed. All of my hobbies cost money bikes, motorcycles, computers, aquarium fish and traveling. Any lotteries in AZ, LOL. My 92' Concurs has a luminous custom blue paint job that a friend who is a detailer did for me. But over the years the road dust and dings have dulled it down. I am definitely in need of an upgrade. I will probably go BMW, Kawasaki and/or Yamaha. Suzuki never did anything for me; and Honda's were never my bag. But that Ninja is sweet.

    Bikes are hawt!

    Question? Kawasaki makes the Ninja?

  14. I used to live in Tucson, AZ. 1989-1993. When the Giants played the AZ Cards once a year We would go to the game at Tempe Stadium. Always got decent seats back then. 35 yd line, "Giants" side, like 15-20 rows up from the field. On those hot ass metal seats.....Danny Kannell, Charles Way, Meggett etc...

  15. Didn't need no seat warmers. The Giants were 'hot' all night. Seems like the G men were the ones comfortable out there playing in the cold weather. Farve looked like he was hurting....he kept adjusting his head gear...his grip was jacked up and it's HIS staduim???

  16. Green Bay is 2 words, what's your excuse for not figuring that out after all this time?

It's hard to 'figure out' the spellings of playoff teams since HIS team doesn't win very many playoff games. Why should he worry about the next opponent anyway, his team specializes in 'One and Done'. It's all "new" to Egg. 12 years....no playoff wins. I'm willing to bet that in Egg's lifetime, his team hasn't won a playoff game.

  17. What are you talking about? I didn't say he wasn't good, I said he hasn't proven he's above average. Owens is a great player. Marion Barber is a tough SOB. Ware is a beast. My opinion of Romo has nothing to do with the fact that he is a Cowboy. It is my opinion that although he is physically talented, and surrounded by very talented players, he's just not a smart quarterback.

Above average QBs don't stand in the pocket and fire the ball 15 yards out of bounds with the game on the line.

Just to add my "2 cents" to this...IF Eli would have done what Romo has done lately (i.e. intentional grounding, taking uneccesary sacks in a crucial moment in a playoff game or throwing the INT there in the 4th...) the world would have villified 'Elway Jr'...right Egg? Right Dog?

  18. the dog never said that romo doesn't take part of the blame (i.e., posts eluding to mistakes he made down the stretch)...but your insistence that he lost the game based on the interception at the end was poor...there are a number of reasons they lost, just as there are a number of reasons the giants lose...as for the media, perhaps it's the fact that manning came at such a high price that he shoulders the blame when he plays poorly in playoff games and the team loses...

    Ok....fair enough.

....but IF Eli was in Romo's shoes ...the WHOLE world would have said "Eli cost us the game". Eggy, Troy Aikman, ESPN and possibly you. Eli is dealt with on a different level than that of a Romo AND Eli's Giants have WON two playoff games. Romo has had the LAST possesion to determine the outcome of two playoff games and did not come thru....he ended the games with a botched hold and the INT vs the Giants. Both resulting in devastating losses. Your boy Egg wants to can Romo because of the 'two times' Romo didn't come up. Now Eli does that??????? Wow!!!! Eggy, ESPN, Mort Anderson and Deion Sanders would be calling Eli a possible bust. Isn't that blamng Eli?

  19. the dog agrees with your last statement so far as the 4th quarter goes...prior to that he had played well, but you are learning...and the dog sees your progess as a step in the right directon...

    Thanks Sen-sei.... :)

Back to "Elway Jr". Since the name of this thread is "Does anybody believe that Elway Jr can win a playoff game" and we ALL been grilled to death about not blaming the QB for losses. Why is it that your partner Egg pinning the whole winning of a playoff game on "Elway Jr"? Didn't the GIANTS beat the Bucs and the Cowboys?

(P.S. I'm noticing a pattern here, the media and you "2" [Egg and Dog] seem to think Eli didn't lose the playoff games. Did enough to manage the game but Tony Romo don't blame him for losing the game...not even a little bit)

So if Eggy 'requires' Elway Junior to win the big one or a playoff. Why can't we say Romo lost the game??

  20. Hey, I enjoyed that little equation.

Well like I said (and others said it too)....the 'loss' to the Pats gave the WHOLE Giants team a boost, whereas the 'cruise mode' the Cowboys did the last few games of the regular season possibly hurt their momentum. I've never experienced that as a fan where a 'loss' to a overly favorite team 'helped' the losing team gain confidence. Never saw that in any sport.

Moral Victory = (NFL terms) NYG 35 NE 38

    Playoff Victory = NYG 21 DAL 17

Question is?: Was the loss severely dissapointing to the Cowboys (being that they were 13-3 and bounced in the first playoff game) or would it have been so dissatisfiying (sp) IF the Giants would have lost to the Cowboys? Yes to both! But it's evident that the loss really was a severe dissapointment for the Cowboys.
