  1. Speaking of Rivers....I get n the fact that Eli is sometimes too laid back BUT FUCK...Rivers talks way too much...or is way too 'emotional'!!!!

Irritating because Rivers aint really alladat.

  2. Enough Tiki bashing. Some of you guys are too dumb (no offense) to see past the bs of the media. The media creates this story by taking Tiki's comments out of context....... When Tiki is asked a question, he gives an honest answer. I like that. I'm tired of all the friggin' cliches athletes always use to avoid an answer.

Tiki said in his book, "Tom Coughlin stole my joy of playing football." So? Coughlin changed his ways this year to be more player friendly. If his approach was so great, why did he change? He changed a year to late, though. ........to Eli, it was like he didn't feel comfortable with it and it looked kind of comical. Again so what. I can see what he's saying. It's Opie who rarely shows emotion. He shouldn't be the rah-rah leader. He also said that he was inconsistent and still needed to prove that he could be a leader on the team (paraphrase). HE WAS and DID! What the media didn't bother to report is that IMMEDIATELY after he said this he also said he believed that Eli could do it and would do it. Overall, Eli has been complementary of Eli. But the media only takes the negative stuff out and throws it in your face. It's the media that is being the asshole, not Tiki. What is he supposed to say, "Yeah Eli is a clear Pro Bowler and the Giants will definitely have a dynasty with him leading the way." Eli had not shown that to be the case at that point and still hasn't. This year his rating is right there with Joey friggin' Harrington. He's asked a question, he gives a straight answer. That used to be respectable. Eli should say, "he's right, I'm working very hard to become that leader and improve my game." But the media doesn't give Eli the full context of what Tiki said either, so he feels jilted when there was none intended. Back off of Tiki and think for yourselves for a minute.

    Excellent. Well put.

  3. Randoff, consider this: Tiki was a chronic fumbler until Coughlin took over the team. He fixed Tiki's problem in about five minutes, enabling him to become the Pro-Bowl caliber player he was when he retired. How does he reward his former coach? By whining about petty nonsense and blabbering about the inner-workings of the Giant locker room. Not only that, but he throws his former teammate (Eli) under the bus, when Eli never had a bad word to say about the guy, ever. Nevermind the "We got outcoached" comments after playoff games.

Tiki was one of my favorite Giants of all-time, But he really disgraced himself after he left.

All true....but IMO that does not make him a cancer. We did not 'win' today because Tiki wasn't there. We won because A) Eli has gotten better B) We got Spags (our Defense attacks) C) Gilbride adjusted the play calling mid stream.

Now IF we don't adjust on offense, don't attack Garcia and don't take what the Buc D was giving us THEN we got outcoached again! But.....I'd like to say for the FIRST time we did NOT get outcoached.

  4. Tiki is one of my all-time favorite players. But I'm really starting to believe he was a locker room cancer.

    Please stop that NOW! :)

Locker room cancer? You are talking about a guy who single handedly (damn near!) propelled the Giants into the playoffs when he got hot. Helped Eli 'grow' by being a running threat.

What amazes me is we ALL feed into the ratings chasing and the 'popularity' Tiki is NOW tryna attain. It's garbage....Tiki is just tryna stir up shit NOW to be popular. Who really cares? I don't. I never felt he was a cancer...I felt that he was an important part of Giants football. Don't forget he still is the BEST productive back the Giants ever had! <_<:)

  5. For leaving, so that cameraderie could finally develop in the locker room and we could finally win a playoff game. And for giving us lots of bulletin board material this week with your stupid brother.

"Bulletin" board material is so overated at the pro level. That shit works in High School. Giants won because they were better....PERIOD! Not because Tiki said 'this' or Rhonde said 'that'. We won because Eli got better, Gilbride adjusted the play calls mid stream, and Spags has got this defense attacking....

  6. I will boycott ESPN until Emmitt Smith is fired from being an analyst. The guy is

terrible and I've never seen such homerism from one person.

***When I played for the Cowboys, we would.....***

    Sickening!
