True.. I didn't think about that.. although i like watching it while sitting on the couch with 32" wide screen.. HD.. instead of a 20" widescreen monitor. Thanks for the heads up though.

I ordered "Americas Game the 1990 NY Giants" as told by Otis Anderson and Jeff Hostettler. Ordered it thru Itunes. I can watch that on my iPod, computer and thru my big screen TV. I cannot wait for 'Americas Game the 2007 Giants' as told by Antonio Pierce and Michael Strahan.

Now I'm starting to lean towards Giants management NOT really wanting Shockey. Before I was believing that it was Shockey that didn't wanna play for the Giants.

If thats true i take back all the negative comments I have made about him.

I think it's a mixture of both the Giants Org not really thinking they need Shockey (the "chemistry thing") and Shockey's side of the story where he wants to be the TE that gets all of the plays.

I'm hoping he wants to play hard for the Giants and put this stuff in the past.

So does this prove Shockey gave the team an ultimatum? Or is that still a rumor started by a bored sports writer?

NFL network just reported that Shockey was a little upset that the Giants Org wanted to trade him. Shockey texted one of the Tisch's...saying something like he's a father figure to him and Tisch is only one there he trusts. Shockey also stated that he'll live up to his contract and report to training.

P.S. the NY POST reports that the Giants Org did NOT want Shockey on the sidelines during the Superbowl. They rather he stay in a skybox.

David Carr IS that guy! Eli is an IRON MAN! Why bring in a good quality backup QB (If there's any left) an the backup thinks he can start? Disrupts chemistry. Carr is perfect for this role....a good backup.

Nope, and it is amazing the Giants went 11-5 without a decent QB - a real testament to Coughlin's coaching and Tiki's running.

And it's amazing that the Giants won it ALL without Tiki Barber, Beat the BEST regular season team AND Eli wins the MVP. Did I forget to mention that Eli orchestrated probably one of the top 5 drives in a Superbowl to win it (or possibly THE best drive in a Superbowl??)

P.S. Eli to Tyree the BEST play ever in any SUPERBOWL. Not bad for not being 'decent'.

I do, Peyton has won the MVP twice. Peyton's success is the only reason Eli got drafted as high as he did. Now that the league has seen that Roethlisberger is the much better QB, it is apparent Eli was highly overrated due to his last name. Unfortunately, Accorsi was dopey enough to buy the "manning" hype, instead of taking the better QB in Big Ben. Accorsi made a mistake that will haunt the Giants for years, as they chose a "Kyle Boller" over a championship QB. This error is as bad as his choice of Ron Dayne over Shaun Alexander.

I'm sorry but if Eli swoons in December worse than ever and winds up with more INTs than TDs and we miss the playoffs there'll be a lot of bitching in New York. Not from the logical fans, but it's not as if the concencus of NY is made of them anyway...
