  1. I look for Jacobs to get more carries this season earlier in the game...If we can give him 10 carries a game in regular situations and let him simply pound the defense and wear then down than Tiki will be even more effective later in the game

  2. if Willie Pete comes back than we would likely carry 6 corners(one more than usual because we don't know if his back can hold up)...those being Petersen, Madison, Webster, Delotch, Mcpherson and RW...

If he does not come back...than we will probably just carry the standard 5 corners

  3. Guys...lets think about this...

We signed a former George-Mason power foward....Draft a corner in the 7th with a 41 inch vertical...and now we got a DT with serious hops.....

isn't it obvious that we are not only creating a strong football team, but putting together the best street hoops team in the NFL....

  4. on naive one...you think his WR's who earn a livelihood from there QB are going to openly flame him to the media about his arm strength ??

one only needs to tune in game time to see just how "strong" his arm is...

like i said, he arm isnt bad, its just not "strong"...that was a very bad misuse of a term in describing Eli's arm...

No....but they also don't have to openly praise his in the media....which they have done...

    another one....

    Who should I beleive...

A random schmuck with a grudge on a message board

    or

Professional coaches and scouts who have dazzled about Eli's arm strength

  5. repitition...look up the meaning...i dont care if they ran routes in the nude...they need to learn eacothers tendancies...

yah, those Miami workouts did wonders...both Jeremy and Plaxico faded into the abyss when it mattered...

no....the New York Giants faded into the abbyss when it mattered....Shockey and Plaxico were not the only culprits. The whole team went into the crapper by seasons end

  6. predictions ?? again, we only lay the correct road to success EA and the band of merry idiots he has employed to follow...he choses not to, and that is why our end product is what it is...

the QB and his entire WR unit needs to be on one field, in one state, at one time...the need to throw and catch till there hands bleed...being 700 miles apart from your 2 biggest targets when they should be forming chemistry and learning eachothers tendancies only hurts the entire situation...

you cant be this dumb...dont act like you dont understand this...

You said it yourself....our passing game fell apart last season.....

And you think a few guys in shorts and t-shirts playing catch in a practice bubble is going to correct the woes we saw in the passing game? think again

Improvments won't be made until the pads are on in training camp...Right now everyone should just be focusing in getting into the best shape they can, and since that is what Shock/Plaxico do in Miami I have no problem at all with it.

  7. every QB in the NFL when given time to step and throw has a strong arm...thats what got them to that level...its the ones that can still throw hard and accurate when all other variables are not perfect...

we all thought thats what we were getting with Eli, we were hoaxed...

    Who should I believe?

A random person with a grudge on a message board

    or

the quarterback's receivers who have said he has one of the strongest arms of any QB they have played with?

  8. hey stupid, let me ask you this...was training camp 2005 enough time for Eli to get on the same page and learn tendancies with his 2 WR's Plaxico Burress and Jeremy Shockey ??

i dont care if these 2 guys came in looking like Charles Atlas...that doesnt help them form chemistry with there QB, only makes them look good in a uniform...

quit the bullshit, and take off the blinders...

EVERY PLAYER SHOULD BE PRACTICING WITH HIS TEAM...

espcially when it was apparent last season when the wheels fell off of our passing game completely, and neither QB nor WR was comfortable or on the same page with eachother...

hey stupid...let me ask you this...how many of your "predictions" have come right over the past few seasons? you and your band of morons should be the last source on this board for anything football related

A few routes in shorts and t-shirts, with no defenders on the field will not correct the problems we saw with the passing game last season. They will slightly improve the timing on routes...that is it. Only training camp and real game reps, where defenders are actually present and the pads are on, could help prevent the massive problems late in the year for our passing game

  9. Are you kidding me about Eli's arm strength?? He has a spaghetti arm, (and a pencil neck, while we're at it). He is a piss poor match for The Meadowlands. Did you see his passes last year? Flutter and float and miss his receivers by yards. The dude just doesn't have what it takes. He was a gamble, and the Giants lost. Let's regroup and move on from here. There is always next year.

his fluttering, floating throws have nothing to do with arm strength and every thing to do with technique. A good quarterback coach can correct Eli's propensity to throw off the back foot. When he sets and throws he has one of the strongest arms in the league.

  10. Has a live arm? really? have you ever actually watched Clemens play? I have...and he has, at best, an above average arm. Certainly not even close to stronger than Eli's.

Your act is old now...your not even pulling it off as simply subjective, pessimistic fans anymore. Your simply a group of loser fans who want to bitch and moan and get under people's skin no matter what the Giants do. Anyone NOT on the Giants is automatically better than anyone on the Giants roster right now. This whole act is kinda a sad way to spend your day...

  11. He is a great athlete...and bench presses two times his body weight. His speed, quickness and strength should allow him to make the roster and eventually develop into a decent player down the road...

  12. can you expect me to watch every college game?

in my mag it said something like..."may lack the speed and quickness to play corner, and the size to play safety"

    now is this true?

you tell me...I heard he has good ball skills, and is a good person...

    am I correct?

    my recommendation....buy a better magazine...

He has good ball skills and is a great leader....on top of being a very good athlete..."may lack the speed and quickness to play corner"? well, I guess you could draw that conclusion if you looked at his 40 time rather than game tape...."and the size to play saftey"? He is 5 foot 10, 206 pounds...that isn't big enough to play saftey?

  13. no...I have a draft magazine and that is what it said...I dont go by 40 times at all

    the only time I go by a 40 is if a WR runs a 4.2 or a TE running a 4.3

thats when I say"wooa that guy can run"

well...your magazine lied....I have watched many 'Bama games over the years and have noticed this kid on several occasions, and he is a very good athlete. The guy played corner for two years before moving to safety...not only did he play corner, he played it damn well. No someone with "no athletic ability" would not be able to be a big time corner in the SEC...maybe you should watch some of the players before making judgement, rather than rely on your precious "draft magazine".

  14. Walker could bite the dust because of McPherson who the Giants are very high on (signing the one year tender was pointless)

Wilkinson will be backing up Arrington and Torbor and Short will be backing up Emmons (unless Emmons gets cut)

Cofield could be part of the rotation (takes up Kenderick Allen's spot)

(Peprah) Battling Jason Shivers and Jamaal Brimmer for the backup SS spot

Whitfield backs up Puke, Whimper backs up McKenzie x

Whitfield backs up Luke and Mckenzie....

Whimper rides the bench and learns for a year....

Peprah easily beats out Shivers and Brimmer

Cofield WILL be part of the rotation
