I lost my mom in July, had back surgery in Aug, and a hurricane in Sept.

It hasn't been a good time.

My condolences.

I heard a really good theory why the NFL will never make it in LA...

The blue collar people who support their team in every other market are not present in LA. The bliue collar people in LA are more into soccer. Baseball, Basketball, college Sports and even Hockey are all thriving in LA but not the NFL. So you can't say it's not a sports city because clearly it is. I t just doesn't have the NFL demograph.

Giants supposedly asked the NFL to not schedule Monday night games due to the construction, that's why we only have one. No fucking harm either.

 

Jets also asked the NFL not to schedule any Monday night games, to which Roger Goodell said, "who the fuck wants to see the Jets on any day?"

That makes sense now.

I am much surprised by that. I don't understand how the SB champs play more games at 1 than at 4 and hardly at 8/9. Is it a lack of respect? The biggest FB market in the country? I don't get it. I thought it was all about ratings?

I'm mistaken. You DID take home the gold, but all the hype is on the semi final and not the final. I've always found that odd. It's like if we were all still celebrating beating Dallas because they're big rivals but half of us couldn't say who we beat in the Superbowl.

The coach of the team said to the players before they played the Fins for the Gold said something like: If you don't win this game you'll take it to your grave. To your fucking grave.

I think that was all the motivation they needed to hear. If they beat the Ruskies but didn't win the Gold then it was all for nothing.
