Mattingly did the right thing. Kid was not stretched out yet..and now the marlins know they have a young starter that can be great. From the looks of it right now he has the team in good spirits and it shows, last night everytime they gave up the lead right away they would respond, I know I had that sinking feeling us Mets fans know all to well, but the team sure did not.

I have yet to see anything about him that worries me. He doesn’t appear to be a puppet for Sandy either which I’m happy about.

So far, so good. I was worried about him being able to handle NY pressure and he hasnt been tested yet. Well see what happens after a 5 game losing streak.

Gsellman and Lugo in tbe pen is turning out to be a great idea.

Good start to the season, NOT getting pumped up yet. It is way too early for that. I like what I see so far though. Pitching has been strong and the pen has been lights out. I think a lot depends on Harvey this year. I think Comforto is going to have a monster year. Yo has had a good start also, but we know how streaky he is.

 

Any and every Mets fan is happy right now but just like you, they are optimistically pessimistic.

Early wins are wins just like late season wins. It’s also all about timing and injuries but it was nice to sweep the gnats.

Marlins have done it 3 times including twice after championships and they haven't been competitive in a while. I guess Mr. November is trying to change that and looking long term.

I remember that dude. He was the one who posted about this place in Giants.com many moons ago. I read his endorsement and haven't looked back since. I remember he said something like it's a cool place but very quiet at times. And it was. You could go hours without seeing a post. I think I saw his handle the other day with a line thru it. What's that mean? Don't tell me it's like the yellow Star of David in the 30's or the scarlet letter A of some sort.

 

I joined just as some wacky scandal was being discussed. A mystery guy was posting as a girl, sexy Sarah or some shit, got in trouble outside this board for something. Never understood the whole thing but was too new to ask about it. Now it probably doesn't even matter anymore.
