Giants podcasts fucking suck. They should be embarrassed by the "quality" of them.

 

I didn't go to school for audio engineering, but I know basic things like "check your levels," "mic check," "dry runs," and basic editing. You listen to these pieces of shit and you'd think somebody's five-year-old son was playing with GarageBand. No joke... I had middle-school kids make podcasts for three years and the quality was BETTER than this.

 

Then there's the production elements, or lack thereof. Not for nothing, but why do I get 17 feeds of one-minute conversations with Justin Tuck, Martellus Bennet, etc. when if you had brain one you would compile them into one longer, 20-minute clip with maybe, I dunno... INTRODUCTIONS on who you're speaking to? That way I wouldn't have BigBlue Kickoff and BigBlue Live (the only listenable casts on there, and that might be stretching it) pushed out of my feed to hear David Wilson's 30-second answer to why he needs to play better... assuming that was David Wilson, who knows... and maybe also be sure that the questions COULD BE HEARD so it's more than some random guy spouting shit and you have to guess what the question was.

 

These things are fucking unlistenable. The Giants would do better off hiring one of my former eighth graders, I'm not even joking.

Pressure came up the middle in this game particularly from Atkins. Diehl has seen his better days for sure but he was not the main issue IMO. Watch the all 22 cam. Baas and snee where bitch slapped. When you have pressure like that coming off the center and interior like that how can you get into a rhythm?

I think most of us here where PO'ed that Reese did little to fortified the o-line in the offseason. Hell I know I was bitching about it last year and this year is worse.

If Bennett and Cruz make their TD catches this would have been a completely different game.

That still doesn't change the fact that cincy got massive pressure up the middle. Baas and Snee where abused all day.

The best result IMO wold be Eagles winning, because Dallas would be done then and we'd have some control over the Eagles since we still have to beat them.

How do you figure? We are 2-2 in the division Philly is 1-0 and Dallas is 1-1. I guess it's splitting hairs right now but I would prefer Dallas to have that division win since we already beat them. And aside from the Cleveland game Dallas has a tougher schedule. I really don't want a nail biter at the end of the season Vs. Philly at home. For whatever reason Philly seems to have our number.

Jones is IMO the problem. The fact that he knows he's done a poor job and continues to keep his role as GM is great. It means more mediocrity for years to come.

This is the game that is going to be the franchise changer for either team. Major major overhaul from Coach to QB to everything else.

Yeah this seems like a once in a lifetime game to watch. I think both teams are in for a huge changes post season. I also think your right in the sense that this maybe the game people point back too and say that game "sent the (insert team name) into a nose dive for years to come."

Yes we know this. But he is given a running play and a passing play from the sidlines. It's up to him to read the D and adjust the play from there. Who knows if either play he is given at that moment is the ideal play? He could be given 2 plays that are lose/ lose either way.

He cloud also be given a play that had he not changed at the line could have been the "ideal" play. You can play that statement both ways. Sidebar: where are you getting he gets two plays called in? I've never heard that one. I've heard of scripted possesions. Is that what you are reffering too?

To throw some more gas on this fire. Manning’s wideouts are required to make reads and change their routes keying off the opposing teams defense. There have been a bunch of plays and examples of this, that the media as well Manning discussing openly. To clarifiy: As in wideouts not making the proper adjustments to defensive keys. And that has nothing to do with play calling.

Agreed .....tough to call. That being said Dallas winning at this point in the season favors us. It's like being told you have to bang Roseanne or Rosie Odonald or die. With the Cavet that Odonald would give you a few dollars after you're done. You don't want to do either, but life is good and money in your hand is just that, cash in hand.

Manning is constently changing the plays at the line of scrimmage it's discussed ad nausea on almost every NY media sports outlet.

I read and heard them talk about game prep for the Pitt game. As in Sandy totally f'ed it up on almost every level. There where players that couldn;t get to the stadium due to gas shortages and a host of other problems. The division sucks this year. Unless thety have a total meltdown they make the playoffs.

Seriously, who are you rooting for in this game? I've gone back and forth. Since we have to play Philly again in week 17, I guess I want to see them dead and buried by then.....and I see Dallas dropping another game or two, anyway - they still have Philly again in three weeks and Pittsburgh and New Orleans in December. Add it all up, and I'm rooting Dallas this week. I think.

We split with Dallas so at this point I think we should want Dallas to win. And then the stadium to collapse preferably killing Vick crushing his internal organs and then slowly bleeding to death internally.

Haven't we all learned yet. Manning is consistently inconsistent. Yet the team wins games and championships.
