  1. limited...the dog has had this discussion countless times, and responded to the question asked. in the end, does it matter if he is elite or not when you are days away from the super bowl? the dog is more than willing to discuss this further after the super bowl is complete. as a giants fan, would you rather have manning throw 5 td passes in a losing effort so you can try and argue better that he is elite, or would you rather have him throw 5 picks in a win so you can say your team won the super bowl? that is the dog's point.

I stopped at the bolded text. Yes it does matter when someone asks you a direct question normally you answer it directly. Not pontificate about other events. Let me dumb it down for you.

When you go for years having discussions about a subject and then your opinions and assements have been proven wrong and someone asks a direct question about the aformentioned normally that person expects a direct asnwer to that question. but it's not suprising that some who holds a "press confernence" for themselves on a message board and talks in third person wouldn't do what normal people do.

Ultimately the dog has no point other then to Filibuster.

Hint: it's not what happens when your man "busts" your large intestine.

  2. the dog has to tip his hat to eli, he has certainly been playing with more consistency which has plagued him throughout his career. top 5 is not unrealistic, but the dog has been out of commission as of late and would like to reserve some time to review the QBs this year again. whether or not the dog would consider him elite is a side discussion for sure, but in the end, the giants are playing for a super bowl...does it matter who is elite and who isn't for the next few days? we were a missed field goal and two botched punts away from seeing a super bowl being highlighted by alex smith vs. joe flacco...the dog will reserve the elite discussion for after the season.

as the dog has said, post season winning consistently comes down to better defensive play and winning the turnover battle. the dog doesn't see sunday being any different.

Well I guess play time is over. What kind of a monunetnal asshole complains about a player for years gets proven wrong and when asked a direct question about their current opinion of said player referes to the superbowl as more improtant? A side discussion? The guy asked you a direct question dipshit. In the context of his posts it's not a side discussion.

Boyfriend to I-tie cock dog: Did you clean out the garage like i asked?

I-tie cock dog too lover: How can I clean out the garage when I haven't cut the grass yet?

When you say out of commission are you taking about AZT treatments?

  3. OK...the dog again wishes you well. now you go get dolled up in your finest darth maul costume and get out the door...the rest of the star wars fanatics are gethering for your daily reenactment of your star wars movie scene of choice. dont want them to start without you...

"dolled" up? You really are a flamer. So as head chair for the local gay sock hop whats the dress code? And when I say "head" chair I mean it figuratively and literally.

  4. Why Italian Hotdog?

I mean there are finer cuts of meat (and that term is loosely applied with regards to a hotdog) you could have gone with.....was Italian Braciola maybe overshooting the common man angle you were looking to achieve..possibly?... Or was Italian Braciola simply too redundant? Or...does the name not have anything to do with food at all...or were you simply laying some sort of perverse ironic trap...cause most people would view an Italian Hotdog as being a sausage..except if that person was from....North Jersey....

    ....wait a minute....wait one fucking minute.....is it a clue?

Isn;t it obvious it's a double entendre for a certain special someone,

  5. you seem a bit obsessed with this type of discussion...the dog would like to suggest that perhaps Cosmo magazine may have a forum that better suits your needs. the dog would like to focus on the super bowl from this point forward. the dog wishes you well on your future endeavour to relieve your sexual frustrations and find suitable discussions to satisfy your curiosities...

I really don't care what you wish, I'm going to treat your bullshit posts is the same manner in which you do. Like a flaming asswipe.

I don;t know what the rest of the posters here think about your "discussions" and I really don;t care. Reading posts from you is like reading posts from Jar Jar binks.

  6. It's one game. Just be better for 60 minutes. It's that simple and that difficult. I think the overall feel from the media is underrating the Patriots which I think is absurd but that isn't for the Giants to worry about. I think the one thing we really have going for us is the player from the '07 game who has shown the most improvement and is essentially a different guy is Eli.

The media is underating them but vegas is not. Aren't the pats three point favorites? Giants are the underdogs in this game yet ESPN and the talking heads of the NFL are taking the Giants. Doesn;t this always seem to point to disaster. Baltimore was favored by 3 and destroyed the Giants in the superbowl.

  7. Only if you believe in path dependency.

It's the old thing about flipping a fair coin. You would predict that if you flipped 100 times you would get 50 heads and 50 tails. If you flip heads 99 times in a row however, the 100th toss is still 50 - 50.

Past circusmatnce in this case are relivent they played this year. Certain elements of those games remain consistent. But I see where you are coming from.

  8. This is what makes me nervous the most, also the fact the a lot of people are liking the Giants. The Giants need to play the game of their lives and come out shooting. I'd love a quick TD first or 2nd play to take all the momentum and never let it go.

The last superbowl I was almost resolved to the fact that the Giants had no chance. This year at first I thought to myself they got this. Now after some time to think I'm more unsure about this game. If history has any bearing on this game it will come down to the wire and it's anyones game. I just find it hard to believe Bill will lose to any NFL team three times in three meetings statistically things are stacked against the Giants I would think.

Still after the Saints, seattle and the punck bitch effort they put into the last eagles game I can't believe this team is where it is. If this turn around isn't evidence that attitude and emotion doesn;t play a huge part in winning in sports I don;t know what does.

  9. I am actually not that nervous, which of course makes me really, really nervous.

here is some food for thought. How many teams have beaten the bill belichick run pats three times out of the past three meetings? I'm suprsied the talking heads haven't been ringing that one home.

  10. Nah...for me...I bought a house and am getting married...priced myself out.

you had seats? and then gave them up? The statement was "They priced allot of fans out of thier seats"

we knew poeple who had seats in thier families for 50 years and where priced out of thier seats when the PSL's struck. That was the point of the statement. And as made evident by Giants LLC calling angel wings over here the waiting list is no more. The stadium is not sold out before the season starts. Which hasen't happend in many many years.

  11. I got a call from Eli Manning before the Dallas game and Justin Tuck before the Atlanta game.

They priced allot of fans out of thier seats with the PSL's. Whats worse is they will proly rasie ticket prices if they win the SB.

  12. I understand the momentum argument. Green Bay was rusty...we beat them when they were clearly off their standard. Please don't take this as the Giants not earning that win. They did...but GB helped.

I think after the tough game against SF, we were physically beat up a bit and it did our whole team, not just Eli, a lot of good to get some relaxation. That, and the fact that most of the guys haven't been through SB week before. So I really think that the extra day or two to just get your head right and learn what to expect. Outlining what to do when, knowing what's coming, and not being surprised or shocked by the hugeness of it all...I think is almost as important as the gameplanning preparation.

Yeah you're right Kareem Mckenzie was a rape victim during that game.
