    look I'm pissed too. we have 8 seats in the 5k licence bracket. 2 date back to the polo grounds and the other 6 to the Yale Bowl in the early 70s and we didn't eben get a sniff.

     

    Yet in '86, '90 and '00 we hit at a 25% ratio. 2 In each year.

     

    But at the same time, If they are giving preference to someone who gave them 20k for a seat license? Well i guess I understand but they should have been up front about that when they built the dump that replaced our old stadium.

     

    I don't care if they a coughing up 20 g's you're right it's BS

    i cant find a ticket for under $2300 either .......looks like im staying home

    It's the way of the NFL now. I guess i should shut my mouth a deal with it. Hell I pay up every year buy new gear every year. Waste hours thinking about the Giants and discussing it. I'm an addict.

    Here is what the NYG told me about SB seats. Five superbowls and the seats have been in my family since 76, not once did I get the oportunity to buy them.

     

     

     

    January 2012

     

    The allotment of Super Bowl tickets given to the participating Teams is very limited. In order to distribute tickets for purchase as fairly as possible to our Non-Club Season Ticket Holders, we conducted a drawing by a random computer selection that was weighted by seniority. In order to be eligible for the drawing, your account must be in good standing. However, as in all drawings, there are no guaranteed selections; and unfortunately, your account was not selected for an opportunity to purchase tickets to Super Bowl XLVI.

     

    For each year that you have held tickets in your name, your account number was entered one time. For example, if you have held tickets in your name for fifteen years, your account number was entered in the computer drawing fifteen times. If you have owned tickets in your name for three years, your account number was entered in the computer drawing three times. If your account has been in your name since Yankee Stadium, your account number was in the drawing forty-six times. If your account has been in your name since Shea Stadium, your account number was in the drawing forty-one times. Therefore, the longer you have been a ticket holder the greater the likelihood of your account being chosen.

    Has anybody on the boards got tickets ? ....is anyone planning to make the trip. ?

     

    I can't find tickets anywhere ........i got offered 2 from a guy who works for NFL UK ( buy he wanted $4600......and that aint going to happen )

     

    I'm thinking about making the trip and trying to buy one in Indy for cash ( longshot ! )

     

    Incredibly ...my wife WILL let me go ! ( i married well there )

     

    Please let me know if anyone finds a source of tickets and can sell 1

    If Eli manages to win this super bowl, we will simply hear about how the defense saved his ass again just like the last one. People either believe that Eli is a great QB or they don't. Stats can be interpreted and twisted so there will always be people who will never believe Eli Manning belongs in the top 5 QB's in the NFL. I'd at least like to think that another super bowl victory would silence the Giants fans who don't believe Eli belongs in the top 5.

    Manning has I would say baring injury anther five good years in the league. It's at that point we should start talking about HOF status IMO. And as far as this year goes IMO he's a top 2 QB, considering the fact that there are only two QB's playing now.

     

    For christ sakes Manning got has ass handed to him last weekend. The ref's completely looked the other way some of those hits. I didn't see manning mention it once.

     

    Look at dog killer Vick and head muckity muck for the Eagles, she cried like a fag bitch in the press this year about not getting roughing calls.

     

    If the Giants lose this weekend (and I know I'll take some shit for this) the Giants had a huge season. The oline IMO sucks balls, the defesne had some historically shitty games and they are still in the superbowl.

     

    As a fan what more can I ask for? Lower ticket prices? For one out of five times give me a shot to buy SB tickets? This team broke my heart on several occasions this year and here we are...

    There is no doubt that the 'Elite naysayers' have already lost their argument ......whether we win or lose this Superbowl.

     

    Eli won countless games this regular season with the 32nd ranked defense behind him .......the discussion is over IMO

     

    Hotdog was wrong ....JM4P was right ...Eli is an Elite QB

     

    End.

     

    And a crappy online. When is "the dog" right? These asswipes have vanished but you can rest assured that if the Giants lose next weekend they will be here in full force, waving ranbow flags and proclaiming clairvoyance.

    yeah this seems to be more then game film , lets first n ten, this hasn't been out for a reason. It's not really secret, but still other coaches will now see things, they were unable to see on regular game film. I will enjoy seeing a different angle

     

    This is the film coaches have had access too.

    I didn't know this. I always assumed they didn't show it because they didn't think people wanted it. With direct streaming technology it only makes sense for the league / media to offer more specialized content. I mean unless your IT guys are complete pikers there is no reason that 3 angles can't be expanded to 6 or 7 etc. Sure you might need to add some servers to increase your upload capacity but the software should be scaleable.

     

    I didn't realize that the league was holding the tape "secret" though. As I alluded to in an earlier post, there are aprox. 80,000 people at every game. Exactly who are they keeping this view "secret" from?

    Not really seceret they just didn't want people to have access to in the sense that they could veiw it over and over and critique it, over anaylze it.

     

    i still hold by the thought that 90% of the people that follow the NFL will care less about it. It's nuts like us that will watch is over and over.

    This is the real upside to being such an "aw shucks" all around general good guy.

     

    Eli never trashes the media. He is always polite and deferential. When he does bark all the little puppies sit, shut up and listen.

     

    When I saw it it reminded of of my Grandfather. when you f'ed up he would say one sentence which seemed profound and put you in your place. And made you never want to do it again. Never rasied a hand never raised his voice.
