  1. Lets recap.

Manning Missing wide open recivers and not seeing a wide open TE for the entier game. Gift wrapping 17 points less then 15 minutes at the start of the game.

The online is pathetic. Dhiel giving up on plays relasing his blocks before the play is over. This maybe the worst Oline in the NFL.

    A non existent pass rush.

And special teams that couldn't make a 30 yard field goal.

Does anyone here really have any conifdence that they will win another game this season!?!?! They goto Baltimore facing a good team that lost three tough games in a row. The onto Philly a team they struggle to beat no matter what thier record is or how bad the look on paper.

I read in the post today that this is the first team in NFL History to get shut out as Defending superbowl champs... At this point I would like to change champs to chumps.

    What a mess...........................

  2. Not me.. it throws off my timing... I'm up very early regardless of the day and I'd hate to sit there and wait for the game... going out to do stuff usually ends up with being stuck in traffic or running around Home Depot like a mad man lol

As long as it's not a night game I'm cool with it.

I just wonder whats going to happen with the Philly game last game of the season.

  3. IMO jacobs was a monumental pud here. Esp after all his crying last year. And I was glad to see him go. Then after hearing guys like Subert, dehil and amani talk about him I changed my mind. Appearntly when he's not acting like a cry baby in the media he's well liked by his teammates and "brings allot of fire to the field".

So take it for whats it's worth.

Some here seem certain that he will not be back. Unless he blows Jim with a smile I don't see him playing for the rest of the year. If he does it seems there are a ton of hurdles to get here assuming that TC and Reese even want him here.

Bob Papa seemed to think it was/is possible.

Again take all of this for what it's worth. A bunch of words and opinions. :030:

  4. I agree.

From a practical standpoint, the fact that he is suspended makes it impossible for the Giants to make a move, unless Jacobs wins his grievance.

If Jacobs were to win his grievance, and be released, I have no idea if Reese would have any interest. But, given the very thin state of the Giant's RBs, and Jacobs' history, I can understand why fans would want to see a reunion.

Papa and Amani seemed to think so. They have more of an inside track then us. They also said the suspension was low rent and basicaly total bullshit.

  5. I think the upside of having a fresh BJ with a huge chip on his shoulder can't be ignored. IF we can get him back, it would be great.

Bob Papa and Toomer where discussing this on the opening drive this morning. The though is currently Jacobs is disputing the suspension. If he wins or cuts some type of "deal" with the 9ners he will get another shot at playing with another team this year.

Why wouldn’t the Giants take him? I see no down side to it.

  6. If I was JPP and his world-leading six sacks, I wouldn't give any bulletin board material to the guy that has a 122 career passer rating against us, 142 in the past two games, and threw for over 400 yards and 4 TDs in each of the past two contests.

How fucking stupid can you get?

Over the last two games Brees had a QB rating of 23..4 vs the Falcon and 33.0 vs the 9ers. This is not the same team that the gaints played last year or on 09. . Also JPP has only played against brees once in his career.

While I agree JPP should watch what he says in the media, with the playoffs on the line and Brees's past two stinkers, I doubt JPP can motiave Brees further. This IMO is a make or break season game for both teams.

IMO the Siants HAVE to have this game.

  7. I can definitely see the Raiders making him a target this offseason. They love our guys.

The Raiders have the worst defense in the league. They have given up the most point and yards in the league. They have bigger problems then LB. Signing a 29 year LB to a multy year big signing bonus contract for them would be pure stupidity.

  8. Man is he getting a payday this offseason.

If the GIants go deep in the playoffs and he has some standout games I still don;t think teams are going to open the checkbook for him. He's gone from being team captain during the regular season to a UFA that no one wanted.

He was a UFA in the offseaon this year and signed a base of 800+. He's 29 it would be a coup if anyone went after him for big money. It's just not logical.

  9. The Giants never get any love and thats fine with me. The Giants and Atlanta are arguable the two best teams in the NFC as far as I have seen neither teams are getting the press that some other teams would be getting in the same spot.

  10. If Eli threw five picks, he would of been the worst QB in the NFL and not elite. Brees does it and he's still a superhero. Brees does it alot too.

Doesn;t he lead the league right now?

  11. Hehe. I dont have a problem discussing our RB situation or anything man. Just that we really really dont need to discuss expensive DE/DL. The moment any big name is cut - we start bungee-jumping onto his jockstrap screaming EA YOU STOOPID IMGRATE!!! I just felt Babin didnt have anything to be even talked about for the Giants. Other teams maybe, Giants no.

The funny thing is he has to go through waivers anyway. And the list goes in reverse of the current W/L record. If the Giants wanted him there is little to no chance they would get a shot at him. So unless the Giants wanted to trade something for him to the first team that claimed him the whole discussion is pointless anyway.

  12. Blackburn is earning his salary just based on special teams alone.....plus he'd be the perfect backup linebacker if Reese ever comes around to the idea of making linebacker a priority.

As long as Reese is depending on the bargain bin to fill his linebacking spot, Blackburn remains the best starting option.

    .

Bargain bin or not the guys is having his best season. He made huge key plays during the playoffs and superbowl last year. For me a Giants fan he's become a kind of legend in the sense of what he’s accomplished with the talent level he's had and the adversity he's faced.

In context of the article and FA the guy is making the league minimum. He's been on the FA market a handful of times no one has ever taking a shot at him besides the NYG. To beat the guy down on the premise of some statistical scale is not only shortsighted it's flat and moronic IMO. Shoddy journalism at its best and clear biased against a guy who has made it though in NFL standards the toughest spots.

  13. I agree with all except Blackburn. How many times has he been thrown on the trash heap? Killing him under the premise that he's never going to have a better year than this year? The guy is making around the league minimum in base salary 800+ grand. This maybe the most stupid single piece of journalism that I have seen in years. And whose going to sign him to a big deal. Just flat out stupid.
