I'm having more problems with mets fans than sox fans oddly enough. I'm not a Torre hater. I do believe that maybe it's time for a change, but you can't take away what the guys' done for the Yankees. Thanks for the titles Joe.

..I don't think It was fortunate, cause Pettitte was pitchin' his ass off. He left it all on the mound, and his teamates left him hangin' out to dry. I thought I would be more upset, but I've seen this too many times from the Yankees. We take three straight and all is well. If not, I can take solace in knowing that our elimination (if it happens) was not a Historical one.....

In the Joe Torre report he said that " the umpires have no common sense". "If there was gonna be a message sent, we would'nt send a rookie out there w/ a 5-0 lead and 2 games in hand!" ....What ever happened to giving warnings out to both teams when someone gets hit? Oh yeah, that's right, nobody was hit. Now does Torre get fined for his comments about this situation?

I don't care what team you like....that shit was funny, but because it was A-rod-it's a fuckin' cryin' shame. What I also find funny is a manager who was fist-fighting w/ a player calling the Yankees "classiness" into question. .....and to call it bush league while the night before you're barrelling into Josh Phelps at first is bullshit. Just because Steinbrenner makes everyone shave, and Jeter runs out the ball everytime, doesn't make us "classy". I remember a player in the 70's who everyone loves....stick his leg out to interfere with a ball and got away with it. I think we all know his name...

The point I was trying to convey is that I personally won't boo my team or players...I'll get pissed at the players who play like shit, but I won't go to the stadium and start booing them.

...and the holier than thou met fans and boston fans never booed a player on their team when they were playin' like shit right??-give me break!!!I can go on record as a life-long Yankee fan and say I never booed him-I don't get down to the stadium enough to have that choice. But as a fan, I do express my displeasure when a player on the team is playing like crap....who wouldn't!!! I'm sure mets fans all over the world were giving beltran a standing ovation last year when he couldn't get the bat off his shoulder! The people who were booing A-rod all this time are probably getting ready to boo Mariano now...and I won't be one of them!
