  1. Yea other than getting burned by S. Moss in the senior bowl for a TD and didnt do too bad.
  2. This is from the safety thread So first let me and the rest of us know where you stand...
  3. So you're saying you would be happy with Webster, DeLoatch, Cromartie, Walker (if resigned), and an unsure status of Will Peterson...
  4. I agree, this guy has the talent to make a huge impact right away.
  5. Holy shit. Heres some other news. Terna Nande OLB Miami (OH) had 41 reps of 225lbs Veron Davis did run the 40 in a 4.37 The fastest time ever for a TE. He also had a 42inch vertical. Stanley McClover of Auburn (4.65), Mario Williams of N.C. State (4.66) and Wimbley (4.66). Heres a little clip from an article at NFL.com The crowd is dwindling in Indianapolis as the offensive position coaches have left. We're now down to linebacker, defensive line and defensive back coaches as well as head coaches. Head coach Tom Coughlin is always the first to arrive and the last to leave.
  6. Florida State DT Brodrick Bunkley benched 225lbs for 44 reps.
  7. I've heard the Jets and Oakland are the two teams that have shown alot of interest in moving up. The Saints are another team that may be willing to move down.
  8. I posted this on another thread but I'll post it here as well. Gabe Watson DT benched 225lbs 36x Mike Kudla DE benched 225lbs 45x
  9. yea, it wasnt too impressive but everything he did wrong could be fixed easily. It doesnt effect his status because Matt and Vince arent going to throw.

  11. From KFFL.com Texans | Casserly comments about Young's Wonderlic test Sun, 26 Feb 2006 15:14:44 -0800 Houston Texans general manager Charley Casserly said at the NFL Combine Sunday, Feb. 26, he had heard about Texas QB Vince Young's score on the Wonderlic test. He also said he heard from a good source that the test results were inaccurate. "Yes, I have been told it was inaccurate, by a source good enough for me to stand up here and quote it. Otherwise I wouldn't get up here and just say it," said Casserly. He was asked how the test would impact the Texans opinion of Young and he replied, "Well, I can only speak for the Houston Texans. I can't speak for 31 other teams. I just said how we evaluate it. It doesn't make any difference what the test score is to us. We're going to go through the same evaluation. I could point to players that have high test scores but couldn't necessarily learn football. So you go through that process, and then we'll evaluate that player's ability to learn our system at the end of it."
  12. Some Combine news Mike Kudla benches 225lbs 45x Gabe Watson benches 225lbs 36x QB Reggie McNeal runs the 40 in a 4.35 QB Marcus Vick runs the 40 in a 4.42
  13. Now profootballtalk.com is saying an NFL official screwed up the grading on Vince's Test. The results of the test will come out later this week.
  14. No Merrimans ability to play in the 3-4 defense in the NFL is what seperates them as NFL prospects.

    LB news

It was a torn Achilles tendon. IMO, Peterson is a very overrated player. I also dont think he will be paid as much as some fans think. He also did not return as the player he was before the injury. Peterson is a gamble, one I would like to stay away from. Especially with the talent in this years draft class at LB.
  16. Besides that coming from profootballtalk.com, I dont think they did the wonderlic test yet. If Vince scored a 6 on the Wonderlic it would be all over.
  17. If Clarett got drafted, Marcus Vick will get drafted. He could go anywhere, alot of teams need a young develop-mental type QB. Who knows where he could actually end up... it could end up being in New York, nobody knows for sure though.
  18. I agree, too. I've always been a supporter of Williams though, so obvoiusly Im a bit bias. Although I have my doubts that he will restructure.
  19. Maybe you should re-read what I orginally posted. Slower this time.
  20. I dont think so. We dont need to carry 6 WRs on roster. Most likely Ponder wont be back. If we have Plax, Toomer, Taylor, Green, and Tyree, I wouldnt be upset at all. I could be happy with that. We went through this entire season with out having or using our 3rd WR as a legitiment threat. Would I be happy if Toomer went down or Plax went down to injury... Hell no. But we wont be able to find a stud WR in FA for a reasonable price or the draft at a reasonable pick that could make an impact as those two can. Im not saying we wont go with 6 WRs, Im just saying we dont have too. Ponder wasnt used at all last season as a recieving option, neither was Taylor. So thats saying we played with 4 Wide Outs all year long. Thats including Tyree's 5 catches and Carters 10.

    LB news

These are all mostly opinions of Mike Garafolo, obvious ones at that.
  22. Like Money said Stovall would probally be one of our best options at that position. Personally im not to high on him. One reason being he has had only one good season in college, and that was under Charlie Weis. He's got great height though, could you imagine him and Plax. Martin Nance could be another if we like the height, he's also 6'4". With that said, I wouldnt go with a reciever in the 2nd. I dont think there is good enough talent that are deserving of that pick. Im high on guys like Skyler Green, Jonathan Orr, and now Brandon Marshall, which are 4th or 5th round guys.
