I almost swallowed my gum after I read this flaming turd's comment. After demonstrating a startling lack of football accumen, the Faux Four has the audacity to comment on the rest of the fan base as if to expose something. I like the pick up for a number of reasons, mostly because we needed depth and LA's very capable of filling that void. Beyond that, I also don't believe that the grass is always greener, so kids coming out of college don't necessarily mean success for us. You'll find that some people on this MB are short termers in terms of football insight. You'll also find that a vast majority of the frequent posters on this MB are those who study football in franchise mode on Madden and think that's an education. LA's very good for us and I find it difficult to imagine that EA and our administration signed a dude if his physical said that he had WIll Pete's back for a knee.

I'm full of curiosity, what did that result in: a "hello," "a restraining order," or did you have to give him the slip in the crowd, like a fat girl a frat house? I'd be curious to put faces with names, though I can imagine that our MB family might have a few squabbles if (after a few libations) this same antagonizing bs came about. I'm a peace loving man myself, but I think there are on a few of our peers who I'd like to actually meet.

If the Faux Four was our GM, then we would have delt Shockey (never recovered from that cap hit) and taken a younger Howard Cross (huge mistake). Throwing to him would be Jesse Palmer backed up by Chris Simms. And we would have probably traded back for Cornelius Griffin. What an asshole, this is sub par Giant fanship.

I begin to wonder if the Faux Four don't write these posts as a joke, just to be contrarian. I mean, nobody could really be this dumb, could they? If the Faux Four goes to games, I can't imagine having to sit next to these ass clowns cheering and jeering at the wrong times. It's like having an annoying relative in the family that you wish would move away or pass away already. The Lavar move is a good one for a number of reasons, it will also bring more attention to our team which has had only one name on it in the past few years and prior to that we had a novelty D with a white CB. Otherwise, I'll be wishing LA well. Now what number will he wear?

I hope LA is a big help to us. He's a big name, he's a good run stopper, and now all we need is for him to be a big playmaker. It will be hard to defend he and our our DE's, that's for sure. The increased pressure increases our DL needs and may help our secondary to have a shorter field.

This is getting funny already. It's a running tally of poor football observations by the Faux Four. It's as if the Faux Four can't make a valid football prognostication. Frankly, I dare them to be right about anything Giants related that doesn't involved bitching and whining.

Of course, the Skins ened nicely last season. They'll have QB issues this season, so Brunnel will get injured and then what's to worry about? The Eagles are McNabb as far as I'm concerned. He's very good, but not a big game QB, so I'm not worried. There's also Dawkins (and I wish we had him), but I'v seen him handled before...and I think we all know what I mean. Then there's the boys, it is clearly the T.O. threat that worries me. That, mixed with Terry Glenn, Witten, and possibly throwing to Julius out of the backfield, that could be trouble. We'll have to attack the line quite a bit and disguise coverage. In the end though, I still think that we'll win the East...again.

I like it better when the NFC east is competitive between the G and Philthadelphia, but I don't that's to be anytime soon: we're miles ahead of the Beagles. I suspect we'll have a time with the Boys and the Skins have just continued to improve. The Beagles have become the trash of the East and it must be a shame for those fans that that cake walk through the East didn't lead them to more than one losing SB effort. You have to be careful rubbing it in though, that city is cursed and its fans hate the stench they give off themselves. At least our rivalry with the Cowboys will be on good footing and we have even more to root for with Tuna coming to his end. Victory will be sweet!

I'm not sure I've seen any real Giants talk on this MB in some time. For what it's worth, Money, and a few others try and keep this civil, but the Faux Four always brings it back to the playground. I must re-iterate what I've said so already this week, "Madden has made little monsters out of kid consumers. Now we have children weened off the tit of Playstation and X-box, who don't recall the realities of the pre-salary cap years and strive to create Frankenteam." Objectively speaking, this MB is only equal to the other MB in its value. The freedom hasn't raised the level of discourse, it's pimped this MB out like Public Access television. Of course, if it wasn't for the loudest voice signing in four different ways with the same tune, this MB might just be a safe haven for real fans like me, Martin, and some other really good folks.
